The PlayStation 4’s game sharing feature, “Primary PS4,” was something that a lot of PlayStation users found themselves using so a household of gamers could play one title without having to buy multiple copies. Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 5<\/strong> will keep this feature as players transition over to it, just with a different name. Not only that, but the feature has received an update that makes it even easier to use on PS5<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Primary Ps4, as the name suggests, allows owners to set up one PS4 as their primary home console. Doing this allows anyone that uses the Primary PS4 to access its entire library of media and video games<\/a>, even if they log into it using a different account. On the PlayStation 5, this system will be called “Console Sharing and Offline Play.” It will basically\u00a0offer the same service as Primary PS4, allowing multiple users to access one account’s digital content, even if the console isn’t connected to the internet.<\/p>\n
