Though, for the longest time, there was a pretty big problem facing the remastered version of\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/spider-man\/\">Spider-Man<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>until now that is.<\/p>\n<p>One thing that Insomniac Games confirmed months ahead of the release of\u00a0<em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales\u00a0<\/em>was that the remastered version of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-players-unhappy-cross-save\/\"><em>Spider-Man<\/em> would not include a cross-save feature<\/a>. This left many fans feeling disappointed and upset. Although, now it seems those complaints have not fallen on deaf ears.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-ultimate-edition-price-worth-it-cost\/amp\/\">Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition is Actually a Great Deal<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Insomniac Games announced earlier today via Twitter that an update will be released for the PS4 version of\u00a0<em>Spider-Man\u00a0<\/em>that will allow users to export their save data over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-fan-ps5-console-design\/\">PS5<\/a> version of the game. According to Insomniac, the update will go into effect in just a few weeks, around Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/insomniacgames\/status\/1325890911826423808\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This should come as good news for many fans of the game. The ability to export saves across consoles is becoming quite a useful, quality of life feature for many different games that are featured on different platforms, cross-gen or otherwise. Despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-ps5-remaster-saves-physical-release\/\"><em>Spider-Man<\/em> remaster still not having a physical release<\/a>, at least players will now have the option to continue their games on the next console generation. The wait may be another concern, but minimal given the variety of games releasing this week.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-remastered-ps5-upgrade-details\/\"><em>Spider-Man<\/em> remaster promises to have a lot of upgrades<\/a>\u00a0and features previously not included in the original version of the game. This will include the super fast load times and the use of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers featured on the PS5. Hopefully, this will enhance the user&#8217;s experience with the game, especially those who now plan to transfer their save data over to the PS5 version once the update releases on the PS4.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, it will be interesting to see where the franchise progresses past the original game and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-gone-gold\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/a><\/em>. The amount of success and popularity the series has achieved just two years after the release of the first game is impressive, especially for such a new franchise.
