On the regular PS4, these titles were locked to 30fps, with the more powerful PS4 Pro running them at an uncapped frame rate.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald also says that Dark Souls 3 is still locked to 30fps on Xbox Series X, too.<\/p>\n<p>One of the launch titles for the upcoming PlayStation 5 is a remake of From Software&rsquo;s 2009 RPG Demon&rsquo;s Souls &ndash; made by Bluepoint &ndash; which boasts a wealth of technical and design changes. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/10\/01\/demons-souls-ps5-4k-frame-rate-modes\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">The title allows you to choose between 4K resolution or a High Frame Rate mode that is meant to make the game feel as smooth as possible<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2019\/06\/10\/elden-ring-open-world-rpg\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">From Software is currently working on a brand new open-world RPG called Elden Ring<\/a>.
