Since the game released in April of 2019, Director Ed Boon&#8217;s Twitter mentions have been filled with thousands of mentions demanding she be added to the game. And now that she is coming\u00a0by way of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-kombat-pack-2-characters-mileena-rain-rambo\/\">the game&#8217;s Ultimate Edition and Kombat Pack 2<\/a>, it seems that NetherRealm Studios is pulling out all the stops in order to generate excitement.<\/p>\n<p>Like Rain and Rambo, the other characters coming in Kombat Pack 2, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-mileena-gameplay-trailer\/\">Mileena recently received a gameplay trailer<\/a> showcasing her the violent stabs of her sai and grotesque bites from her Tarkatan-like jaw. However, Mileena has now received yet another trailer explaining who she is, and is narrated by the Ninja Mime himself, Johnny Cage.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-mileena-friendship-finisher\/\">Mortal Kombat 11 Director Shows Mileena&#8217;s Friendship Finisher<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The trailer begins with Johnny declaring that the &#8220;long wait is over,&#8221; a seeming reference to how long\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-mileena-intro-fans\/\">fans have been clamoring for Mileena<\/a>\u00a0to be included in the\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat 11\u00a0<\/em>fun. Throughout the trailer, players can see several of Mileena&#8217;s brutalities being performed on characters that have done her wrong in past\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat\u00a0<\/em>games like Kotal Kahn and D&#8217;Vorah. While this occurs, Cage narrates and catches players up on her fate from\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat 10\u00a0<\/em>and how she managed to get to the current timeline.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X9JdG2K4YMc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Mileena&#8217;s fanbase within the\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat\u00a0<\/em>community is a large one. Over the past several entries, the character has become somewhat of a staple in the classic fighting game franchise. And with fans like hip hop artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/wap-singer-megan-thee-stallion-cosplays-as-mortal-kombats-mileena\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Meg Thee Stallion cosplaying Mileena<\/a>, it seems that the character might be one of the most popular in the franchise&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p>While many players are indeed excited for Mileena and the rest of Kombat Pack 2, it seems that NetherRealm Studios may not be entirely finished with\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat 11\u00a0<\/em>altogether. Recently, a seeming leak on the Brazilian PlayStation Store seemed to confirmed the existence of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-kombat-pack-3-leaks\/\">an upcoming Kombat Pack 3<\/a>. While\u00a0nothing official has been confirmed\u00a0at this time, the leaked store page priced the Kombat Pack at\u00a0\u20ac24.99,\u00a0and is being theorized to bring five more characters to the fighter.<\/p>\n<p>This Kombat Pack 3 rumor seems to line up with a purported leak that occurred shortly before\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate\u00a0<\/em>was announced. It seems that if this Kombat Pack 3 rumor turns out to be true, players can likely expect <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-dlc-leak-dialogue\/\">Harley Quinn, Smoke, Takeda, Michael Myers<\/a> (<em>Halloween<\/em>, not\u00a0<em>Austin Powers<\/em>), and Sektor as the other playable characters.
