It&rsquo;s at times really rather adorable, but I wasn&rsquo;t prepared for the horror that is Sackboy&rsquo;s death cry.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/86tGuT0whic?feature=oembed\" alt=\"Please accept cookies to see this iframe.\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As you can hear (and see) in the video above, when Sackboy falls to his death, his final sounds are played through the DualSense speaker. The first time this happens it&rsquo;s extremely alarming. One second you&rsquo;re jumping around with glee, the next your eardrum is being assaulted by a sound effect that wouldn&rsquo;t be out of place in a SAW movie.<\/p>\n<p>You can tweak the DualSense settings to lower the volume of the speaker, which I recommend, unless you want to repeatedly raise your heart rate with jump scares.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-757276\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-600x338.jpg\" alt=\"Sackboy A Big Adventure screenshot PS5.\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-156x88.jpg 156w, https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-1152x648.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/assets.vg247.com\/current\/2020\/06\/sackboy_big_adventure_ps5_5-231x130.jpg 231w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\"><\/p>\n<p>The PS5 DualSense is a superb bit of kit and is best shown off in pack-in title <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/06\/astros-playroom-ps5s-dualsense-ps5s-secret-weapon-made-rethink-multiplatform-purchases\/\">Astro&rsquo;s Playroom<\/a>.
