Taika Waititi is a really busy guy. Over the last few years he\u2019s found the time to direct, write and star in his own Academy Award contender Jojo Rabbit,<\/em> do his fair share of work in What We Do in the Shadows<\/em> and even take a swing at The Mandalorian<\/em><\/a>, just for kicks. The man\u2019s schedule is completely booked for 2021 as he\u2019ll start filming Thor: Love and Thunder<\/em>, but before 2020 wraps up, he’s delivering a tiny slice of Christmas joy.<\/p>\n

Waititi\u00a0has paired with Coca-Cola to bring to life the company\u2019s latest ad, with true on-brand style and a bit of Waititi\u2019s humor<\/a>\u00a0added to it. Bear in mind this is not Waititi\u2019s first commercial, as the New Zealander has previously done similar work for brands like Old Spice and Australian beer brand Carlton Dry.<\/p>\n

As if the ad wasn\u2019t touching enough, Coca-Cola\u2019s marketing team made sure to remind everyone what a year 2020 has been with the video description noting that \u201cBe it in person, over an awkward video call, or just a quick message, making time for the ones you love is what makes Christmas truly the most special time of year, no matter how you do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
