The fast food brand has been\u00a0quite actively involved with the gaming industry as of late, and gamers can currently win an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/kfc-giving-away-xbox-series-x-console-themed-controller\/\">Xbox Series X console and KFC-themed controller<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-kfc-twitter\/\">Apex Legends Trolled by KFC on Twitter<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Looking at the bottom edge of the image, it looks as if KFC has\u00a0stolen the exact template use by the original tweet, just exchanging the <em>Cyberpunk<\/em> yellow for red. The message mocks everything originally said by the game&#8217;s developers, nearly word-for-word, just with humorous changes.<\/p>\n<p>For example, one line from the original tweet reads, &#8220;The biggest challenge for us right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time, which requires us to prepare and test\u00a0nine versions of it&#8230;while working from home.&#8221;\u00a0Meanwhile, the KFC tweet begins with, &#8220;The biggest challenge for us right now is creating a literal console that warms chicken.&#8221; KFC has been promoting its &#8216;console&#8217; for a while now, announcing a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/kfc-game-console-ps5-xbox-series-x\/\">PS5 and Xbox Series X rival called the KFConsole<\/a>\u00a0in June.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kfcgaming\/status\/1326944122381488132\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>\u00a0is undoubtedly one of the most hotly-anticipated games in the past decade. Because of this, a litany of companies have collaborated with, or at least given attention to the game. This has\u00a0spawned plenty of giveaways and\u00a0licensed merchandise,\u00a0such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/razer-cyberpunk-2077-viper-mouse\/\"><em>Cyberpunk<\/em>-themed Razer Viper mouse<\/a>. It&#8217;s yet to be seen if this is just a PR move, or if KFC and\u00a0<em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> have something else in store.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CyberpunkGame\/status\/1321128432370176002\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>CD Projekt Red is denying the latest round of delay rumors, insisting the game will release on December 10 as planned. These rumors may have been what inspired the KFC Gaming Twitter, as it has been a few weeks\u00a0since\u00a0<em>Cyberpunk<\/em>&#8216;s initial tweet.\u00a0This latest interaction goes to show how much the fast food industry has been reaching out to the gaming community in recent years. Taco Bell also recently held an Xbox Series X giveaway, and right now gamers have the chance to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/burger-king-ps5-giveaway\/\">win a PS5 from Burger King<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there are many waiting until the holidays to get\u00a0a new console to play games like\u00a0<em>Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>on. Until then,\u00a0interested players can get free chicken from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/kfc-restaurant-animal-crossing-new-horizons\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KFC&#8217;s functioning restaurant in\u00a0<em>Animal Crossing: New Horizons<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Cyberpunk 2077<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0launches on December 10 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
