Today marks the official launch of the\u00a0PS5\u00a0<\/strong>in several countries around the world,\u00a0however many players have had a hard time getting their hands on the console. With pre-orders being difficult to come by only a few short months ago, players have been finding it even more difficult to order a PS5 at sites like Walmart<\/a> on launch day. Some select influential figures have had an easier time than others, though, with PlayStation sending its new console to individuals like hip hop artist T-Pain.<\/p>\n

Grammy Award winning artist T-Pain took to his Twitter sharing his excitement at receiving a PS5 from Sony. The video begins with T-Pain encouraging viewers to “shoot [their] shot…well not at [him]” as he revealed the PS5 in its box, fully protected by a plastic case. Laughing, he then exclaims what a great week its been for him and then thanks Sony for the console.<\/p>\n

This week has definitely been a major week for the artist. Not only did T-Pain receive his PS5 today from Sony, but earlier in the week he received an Xbox Series X from Microsoft<\/a>. If this wasn’t reason enough to be excited, he also received an Oculus Quest 2 from Oculus and Facebook.<\/p>\n
