The launch of these two new Xbox consoles set a record for the company, with Head of Xbox Phil Spencer stating that it had <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-series-s-launch-record-microsoft\/\">sold more Series X and Series S systems in its first 24 hours<\/a> than it had in previous launches. Now Xbox has added several new titles to its Xbox Game Pass service to give players even more games to try out on their new consoles.<\/p>\n<p>Starting today, players have three new Game Pass titles to give a shot on their Xbox platform of choice. The first is\u00a0<em>Streets of Rogue<\/em> on the PC Game Pass,\u00a0a twin-stick, Roguelite RPG with multiple procedurally generated scenarios and many characters to play as. Next is\u00a0<em>Gonner2\u00a0<\/em>on consoles and Android devices, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Roguelike platformer from 2016 by Raw Fury. Finally, players on both consoles and PC can now also play the long-awaited\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/final-fantasy-8\/\"><em>Final Fantasy 8\u00a0<\/em><em>Remastered<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-game-pass-new-perks-get-better\/\">Xbox Game Pass Can Only Get Bigger From Here<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Final Fantasy 8\u00a0<\/em>is but one of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/final-fantasy-game-pass\/\">many\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy\u00a0<\/em>games that were promised to Xbox Game Pass<\/a> players back in November of 2019. Besides this new addition, players can currently play\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 7<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 9<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 15\u00a0<\/em>across the Xbox family of consoles. While this already quite a bit of the celebrated JRPG franchise, players can still expect\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 10: HD Remastered<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 10-2: HD Remastered<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 13<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 13-2<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13<\/em> to come to the service in the future.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XboxGamePass\/status\/1326993173869195264?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/final-fantasy-8-remastered-review\/\"><em>Final Fantasy 8 Remastered\u00a0<\/em>released in early September 2019<\/a> with many critics coming away with a generally positive experience. While many have stated that they believe that this is the best way to play the game, others were quick to point out that the remaster seemed to not put nearly enough time into updating the game&#8217;s backgrounds. Meanwhile, character models received a considerable facelift from their original release, giving some players a somewhat jarring experience.<\/p>\n<p>These three titles being added today are but a few of the many games that have been added recently for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Recently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received a new benefit that gave them <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/ea-play-catalog-now-available-xbox-game-pass\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">full access to the EA Play catalog<\/a>.
