Dead by Daylight\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>has had quite a year so far in 2020, introducing\u00a0Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason from the\u00a0Silent Hill<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>franchise earlier this year and adding an original villain known as The Blight. Recently, the team over at Behaviour Interactive even\u00a0released a new\u00a0killer over on its Public Test Build, with\u00a0the eerie new\u00a0Twins officially playable.<\/p>\n

As always, the hit asymmetric multiplayer game is\u00a0continuing to make sure\u00a0it’s adding new content for its previous killers and survivors as well, such as the Cybil Bennet skin for Cheryl Mason and a bunch of new looks included in a Halloween event. The most recent outfit added to the game is hitting the title today, however, with\u00a0Texas Chainsaw Massacre<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>villain Leatherface\u00a0(or The Cannibal, as he’s known in\u00a0Dead by Daylight<\/em>) receiving his first cosmetic.<\/p>\n

The skin is called the Old Lady Outfit and harkens back to the\u00a0character’s\u00a0terrifying\u00a0big-screen debut back in 1974. As those who’ve seen the film will no doubt remember, Leatherface<\/a> has several masks he dons throughout the film, with one resembling an old lady with blonde hair. The notorious outfit will make its leap to the game pretty authentically, with Leatherface’s new skin sporting the apron, shirt, and mask worn by the killer during his killing spree in the original\u00a0Texas Chainsaw Massacre.<\/em><\/p>\n

According to Behaviour Interactive, it will cost a total of\u00a01080 Auric Cells and can be purchased at the in-game store. As expected for a killer with such a storied legacy in horror cinema as Leatherface, the outfit is suitably unnerving, managing to replicate its on-screen counterpart pretty accurately. The villain of the seminal franchise wound up joining\u00a0Dead by Daylight<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>back in 2017, becoming part of a long line-up of popular horror antagonists to join the game’s roster. Other notable names include\u00a0Nightmare on Elm Street’s\u00a0<\/em>Freddy Krueger,\u00a0Halloween’s\u00a0<\/em>Michael Myers, and Scream’s\u00a0Ghost Face.<\/em><\/p>\n

As for\u00a0Dead by Daylight,<\/em>\u00a0the game\u00a0continues\u00a0to\u00a0build a huge community despite releasing all the way back in 2016. Adding new killers\u00a0frequently, the game\u00a0has been a treasure trove for\u00a0fresh\u00a0horror content, as players grow excited to see what big names\u00a0and new mechanics Behaviour Interactive can add to the title next. It also has a successful mobile counterpart, which recently got access to the\u00a0Silent Hill\u00a0<\/em>content released for the main game back in March<\/a>. Those wanting to get themselves the game’s new Leatherface mask can do so by going on\u00a0Dead by Daylight’s\u00a0<\/em>in-game store now.<\/p>\n

Dead by Daylight<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is available\u00a0now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch,\u00a0Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n
