Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet get in on the intergalactic action of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/among-us\/\"><em>Among Us<\/em><\/a>\u00a0thanks to some new images posted online last week.<\/p>\n<p>Although\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em> rewards stealthy imposters with a clear path to victory, it&#8217;s often easy for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-impostor-worst-mistakes\/\">imposters to mess up and expose themselves<\/a>. Fans of the\u00a0<em>Pokemon\u00a0<\/em>anime know that Team Rocket&#8217;s Jessie and James try and fail at stealth over and over\u00a0in a similar way. Although their goal is usually just to steal a single Pikachu from Ash Ketchum, Jessie and James\u00a0approach this task with gusto, frequently dawning disguises to get close.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-team-rocket-memes\/\">Pokemon: 10 Hilarious Team Rocket Memes Only True Fans Understand<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Twitter user Cruz02Art envisions Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet as different characters from\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em>. The color choices for their suits and characters make sense, and\u00a0the art details how each of the four would behave in an actual game of\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em>. Amusingly, the only characters who seem to be <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-crewmate-survival-tips\/\">effective task-completing crewmates<\/a>\u00a0are James and Wobbuffet. Part of this may have to do with the fact Wobbuffet cannot speak human languages, making it easy to keep a low profile.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cruz02Art\/status\/1327317480868605953\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Some may be surprised by the decision to clarify that James is a superb <em>Among Us<\/em> player. However, this shouldn&#8217;t be too shocking. Fans often imagine Jessie and James as bumbling and ineffective, but in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/pokemon-lets-go-team-rocket\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">games like\u00a0<em>Pokemon: Let&#8217;s Go, Pikachu!<\/em>,<\/a> Jessie and James are powerful foes and legitimate threats.<\/p>\n<p>The fan art doesn&#8217;t bring Giovanni into the mix. In both the anime and the games, the Team Rocket head is a sadistic and highly-competent criminal who has no problem intimidating others into getting what he wants.\u00a0Thus, it&#8217;s not hard to see him dominating\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em> as an imposter. Still, given the game version of Giovanni was most recently seen forming a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-team-rocket-hidden-details-facts-trivia\/\">dimension-hopping gang known as Team Rainbow Rocket<\/a>, he presumably has bigger aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>As fun as it might be to add to\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em>, the game provides more backstory than many might believe. Although <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-cyan-colors-lore\/\">in-game\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em> character lore<\/a>\u00a0is scarce, it suggests that the red player character may be the canon imposter, and that some of the other characters are related.
