Destiny 2<\/strong><\/em>‘s newest expansion,\u00a0Beyond Light<\/em>, is filled with new story, quests, and gear for Guardians to collect. The\u00a0Beyond Light<\/em> expansion, which took Steam’s top two sale slots this week<\/a>, added a new quest called Hunter and the Hunted. In this quest, Guardians have to help Osiris to avenge a friend’s death on the Moon.\u00a0Warning: Story Spoilers Ahead<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In a surprise move on Bungie’s part, it\u00a0killed Osiris’ Ghost, Sagira off-screen<\/a>, making some fans rather upset at the lack of even a cutscene in her honor. This Ghost has been part of the story since Year 1, and she was killed in a fiction post on Bungie’s blog. She does at least get some revenge for her death in the story, however, as a mourning Osiris decides to chase down the creature responsible for his Ghost’s death. He gets in over his head and calls in the Guardian to help.<\/p>\n

In order to help Osiris, Guardians first have to get the quest chain for Hunter and the Hunted started. This is the story quest for the Season of the Hunt<\/a>, the first season of the new\u00a0Beyond Light<\/em>\u00a0expansion.\u00a0This questline includes Hunt for the Wrathborn. There are several prerequisites in order to start the Season of the Hunt, which began November 17, 2020.<\/p>\n
