With\u00a0FIFA 21\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>still to release on the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X\/S consoles, EA has confirmed that not only will football legend David Beckham<\/a> be the cover star of the new releases, players will be able to add him to their squads for free once he releases for the game.<\/p>\n

However, according to the small print in the announcement trailer, Beckham will\u00a0be available for every version of\u00a0FIFA 21<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>except for the Nintendo Switch version, which has unsurprisingly not gone down well with players who own that one.<\/p>\n

Though the game received otherwise solid reviews from critics, the Switch version was blasted for being what has been described as the exact same game as\u00a0FIFA 20<\/em>, which in turn was exactly the same as\u00a0FIFA 19<\/em>, which was also exactly the same as\u00a0FIFA 18<\/em>, which was the same as\u00a0FIFA 17<\/em>. Essentially,\u00a0FIFA\u00a0<\/em>fans on Switch have been forced to play the same game for the last four years.<\/p>\n
