As Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/i><\/a>\u00a0has been out for almost a while now, players have completed the short campaign and then some, leaving many to squeeze as much life out of the title as they can. And with such a short main story, it only makes sense that side missions and secrets exist in the game for players to find.<\/p>\n

The new entry in Sony\u2019s Spider-Man<\/i> series isn\u2019t one of the\u00a0best PS5 launch games<\/a>\u00a0for no reason, as it\u2019s filled to the brim with content, Easter\u00a0eggs, and a slew of abilities and things players can do. Players just have to be careful not to miss anything.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>New Game\u00a0Plus<\/h2>\n

The game may be half the length of Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/i>, but there\u2019s a ton of replayability, and that\u2019s no more true now thanks to New Game Plus. Once players complete the main story of the game, New Game Plus gives them the option to replay it all over again. The difference is that it includes a new Spidey suit and comes of loads of new features, including \u201cUltimate\u201d difficulty, a challenging game mode compulsory for any completionist.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Make Vehicles\u00a0Tilt<\/h2>\n

With the swinging in the game being so much fun, it\u2019s easy to forget that there is actually land that players can walk on. Even better, if players land on a car or a truck, the vehicle will tilt depending on where Spidey stands on it. It\u2019s that attention to detail that has made players fall in love with the game so quickly. And if players listen carefully, when they land on the vehicle they\u2019ll hear the driver complain, which is one of the hidden details that everyone missed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Give Spider-Cat A Mask<\/h2>\n

As Miles takes it upon himself to adopt a cat, or at least take it swinging around the city, it has quickly become one of the most adorable characters in a video game.<\/p>\n

But the best thing about it comes upon completion of the game, as players can customize the cat\u2019s attire, meaning players can literally make the cat wear a mask. It\u2019s one of the strangest customization options the game has, of which there are many.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Spider-Verse Frame Rate<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Spider-Man\u2019s movement is one of the reasons it\u2019s better than Marvel\u2019s Avengers<\/a>, as swinging around the city is not only totally immersive, but it\u2019s beautiful, especially when the orange sunset contrasts with the white snow (which is one of the things we love about the game<\/a>.) But there\u2019s a way to make it look even cooler. If players equip the Spider-Verse suit, they are able to slow the frame rate so it looks like the art style of the 2018 animated movie.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Miles\u2019 Father\u2019s Grave<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

With Miles\u2019 father having passed away in the universe before the game starts, some players have complained about the repetitive story, as it\u2019s too similar to Peter Parker\u2019s relationship with his Uncle. However, it doesn\u2019t make it any less of a great Easter egg that players are able to find Jefferson Davis\u2019 grave, along with some of Peter\u2019s relatives too, which is why learning the map is one of the pro tips you need to know<\/a>.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Add Shortcuts To The D-Pad<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

As there are so many different abilities available in the game and such a variety of gameplay options, it\u2019s hard to believe that there are actually spare buttons on the D-Pad.<\/p>\n

The two free buttons are the left and right arrows, and Insomniac has cleverly allowed players to assign their own shortcuts to the buttons, whether it\u2019s an attack or a shortcut to a menu. It\u2019s a perfect addition and it\u2019s advised to edit\u00a0this as soon as the game starts, as it\u2019ll save a ton of time.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Faceplanting<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

In Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/i>, the ability to perform tricks will keep players distracted for hours, even days, and though it\u2019s just for show, it does add XP and fill players\u2019 Venom bars. But who cares about that when fans can menacingly but hilariously toy with Miles? One of the more fun things that people can do is perform a trick without then hitting swing. It\u2019ll lead Miles to face plant on the ground, and\u00a0as long as Spider-Cat is okay, there\u2019s nothing to worry about.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Pay Respect To Stan Lee<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Being the legend that he is, it\u2019d be blasphemy if Sony didn\u2019t give Stan Lee the send off he deserves in Miles Morales<\/i>, as the comic book guru unfortunately passed away between Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/i> and it\u2019s follow up. With Insomniac being the great developer that it is, the folks have designed a giant bronze statue hidden in the map. Players can head over to the statue and pay respect to the icon.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Dance With Pedestrians<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There were loads of\u00a0things that fans spotted in the trailer<\/a>, but there was plenty that Insomniac was surprisingly able to keep hidden. One of those things was Miles\u2019 ability to emote with passers by on the street. When players are on the ground, they can press Square to dance, which has led to some funny memes online of Miles salsa dancing in some awkward situations. And there\u2019s even a reference to that<\/i> dance in Spider-Man 3<\/i>.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Into The Spider-Verse Soundtrack<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

One of the best things about Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse <\/i>is it\u2019s immersive soundtrack, and there\u2019s a way to listen to the soundtrack while playing the game. Fans can play the Spider-Verse soundtrack on YouTube and mute the game in its sound settings, and then they can swing freely. And if players really want to feel like they\u2019re controlling the movie, they can put on the Spider-Verse suit and slow down the frame rate too!<\/p>\n
