A bizarre game where players go around collecting\u00a0<em>Pokemon<\/em>-like food creatures in traps,\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> has earned decent amount of praise for its humor and personality. Many PS5 owners have been playing\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> thanks to it being the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/free-ps-plus-games-ps5-launch-bugsnax\/\">first free PS5 PS Plus game<\/a>, and some may be having trouble capturing specific creatures.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bugsnax-pokemon-inspire\/\"><em>Bugsnax<\/em> is like\u00a0<em>Pokemon<\/em><\/a> in that the game world is filled with unique creatures that players can catch, though the method of catching creatures in\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> is quite different than it is in\u00a0<em>Pokemon<\/em>. In\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em>, players often have to fulfill certain conditions in order to properly trap one of the creatures. Sometimes this is pretty straightforward, but other times catching creatures in\u00a0<em>Bugnsax<\/em> can get a little more complicated.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bugsnax-food-recreation-recipes\/\">Cookbook Author Turns Bugsnax Into Real Snacks<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/bugsnax\/\"><em>Bugsnax<\/em><\/a> creatures that can be a little complicated to catch is Poptick, a Bugsnax that is\u00a0based on a popcorn kernel. Players have to capture two Popticks as part of the Pop Music quest, which they will have to complete if they want to convince Wiggle to return to Snaxburg.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gaU7X5pWkCw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/bugsnax-rain-caramel-poptick-guide\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Popticks<\/a> are found in the Scorched Gorge area of\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em>, itself located west from Snaxburg. The Scorched Gorge is a desert canyon area, full of rather aggressive Bugsnax. Upon entering the area, players can take a right through a narrow canyon that leads to Triffany&#8217;s excavation site. In this narrow area, players will see two Popticks running around on the ground, as well as a\u00a0Scorpenyo crawling on the wall.<\/p>\n<p>After\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> players have located Poptick, the next step is to catch one. If\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> players take a picture of Poptick, they&#8217;ll be informed that the creature is too small for them to catch in their trap like they usually would. So the first thing players need to do is make Poptick bigger, which is done by forcing it into popping into popcorn.<\/p>\n<p>To do this,\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> players need to use their slingshot to fling hot sauce at the Popticks. This will cause the Scorpenyo to hit them with fire, in turn blowing them up to a size large enough to capture. However, if <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bugsnax-ps5-gameplay\/\"><em>Bugsnax\u00a0<\/em>players try to place their trap<\/a>, Scorpenyo will likely destroy it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bugsnax<\/em> players should collect a lot more hot sauce ammo for their slingshot. Then shoot it at the wall that Scorpenyo is on to distract it. Place the trap in the Poptick&#8217;s walking path, and then repeatedly shoot hot cause near the Scorpenyo.
