It should probably be expected that most major issues with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/watch-dogs-legion\/\"><em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em><\/a> would have been corrected by now. That appears to not be the case, however, as Ubisoft recently confirmed an existing bug that is keeping the game from properly saving for extended periods of time.<\/p>\n<p>The official <em>Watch Dogs <\/em>Twitter account confirmed the bug in a reply recently, saying that the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/watch-dogs-legion-devs-delay-statement\/\"><em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em> development team<\/a> is aware of an issue keeping the game from saving at times. The account that Ubisoft replied to said they lost around an hour of progress due to the bug. This isn&#8217;t\u00a0an issue experienced by just one<em> Watch Dogs Legion<\/em> player, however, as it&#8217;s a common topic of the\u00a0game&#8217;s\u00a0subreddit, with some users saying that they&#8217;ve been waiting for a fix since the Xbox One launch.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/watch-dogs-legion-removing-voice-actor-game-controversial-remarks\/\">Watch Dogs Legion Removing Voice Actor From Game for Controversial Remarks<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Those players may not\u00a0be happy with Ubisoft&#8217;s full response, as\u00a0it acknowledging that the issue exists and is being worked on, but it also said a fix isn&#8217;t going to be ready for a while yet. A <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ubisoft-watch-dogs-legion-fixes-needs\/\"><em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em> patch<\/a> will hopefully arrive in &#8220;early December,&#8221; according to Ubisoft&#8217;s\u00a0Twitter reply. As such, a best-case scenario is that the patch will arrive in two-to-three weeks.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/watchdogsgame\/status\/1329869470605651968?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em>\u00a0players have provided some advice for those who encounter the problem. The best solution is to, apparently, wait. Since <em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em> doesn&#8217;t have a method of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-watch-dogs-legion-save-corrupt\/\">manually saving<\/a>, all players can do is hope the game will eventually save like it should. For the most part, this strategy seems to work. There&#8217;s no telling how long players will have to wait, but it very well could be an hour or two.<\/p>\n<p>The problem apparently only affects Xbox platforms, so PlayStation users on <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps4-data-transfer-ps5\/\">PS4 or PS5<\/a>\u00a0don&#8217;t have to worry about the issue. That detail is leading some to question whether Ubisoft\u00a0has prioritized optimizing PlayStation platforms over Xbox. Having to wait over a month for a serious bug to be fixed certainly may not be the most encouraging sign for Xbox fans.<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/watch-dogs-legion-overpowered-character-guide\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Watch Dogs Legion<\/em> players<\/a> on Xbox platforms should do their best to ensure a save has been registered before quitting their game.
