For many,\u00a0The Sims 4<\/em><\/strong> has been a way to experience some semblance of a life without COVID-19, to the point where Maxis will not add face masks to The Sims 4<\/em><\/a>. For many, the\u00a0formerly mundane life\u00a0of paying bills, having a job and meaningful relationships, and being able to travel the world are things only able to be experienced in\u00a0games like the life simulator right now.<\/p>\n

However, being able to play good video games is something that\u00a0The Sims\u00a0<\/em>4<\/em><\/a>\u00a0has not been able to simulate effectively. For many, the thought of playing Blicblock\u00a0<\/em>or Incredible Sports<\/em> is not particularly exciting. A mod has changed all that by adding various real games that\u00a0players would be more likely to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Better Computer Games mod\u00a0from user SimmerWellPupper replaces the generic games with\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>,\u00a0Forza Horizon 4,<\/em>\u00a0GTA V<\/em>,\u00a0League of Legends<\/em>,\u00a0Monster Hunter: World<\/em>,\u00a0Persona 4 Golden<\/em>, and\u00a0Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice<\/em>. While the thought of playing\u00a0League<\/em> without bad players dragging\u00a0one down is enticing, the addition of\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077\u00a0<\/em>is perhaps the final indication that Sims are living well in comparison to real-life.<\/p>\n

The mod adds real gameplay footage and sounds from the various games, which can be seen and heard on the in-game PC. For most of the games, the footage the mod uses can be compiled by anyone. As for the\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> footage, it appears to come from the various gameplay trailers that have come out over the years. With the real-life version of\u00a0<\/em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> being delayed to December 10<\/a>, Sims aren’t just eating better food and dressing in better clothes, they are also playing the best games before real players can.<\/p>\n

While the world of\u00a0The Sims 4<\/em>\u00a0no longer has to worry about whether\u00a0Cyberpunk 2077<\/em> will live up to the hype, concerns remain in the real world. The game has been delayed three times, including past a November 19 release date, despite going gold back in October<\/a>. Accusations of a crunch culture being imposed by CD Projekt Red have also been prevalent, with CEO Adam Kicinski apologizing for comments that attempted to downplay the seriousness of the allegations.<\/p>\n

Despite the various controversies related to the development of Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, there is immense hype surrounding the game that continues to build with every second of promotional footage. Episode 5 of Night City Wire revealed a playable Johnny Silverhand\/Keanu Reeves<\/a>, lip sync technology, and the game’s score and soundtrack.<\/p>\n

The Sims 4<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.<\/p>\n
