For 21 Savage, this meant modeling the SNIPES x PlayStation collection.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between the German streetwear retailer and the Japanese conglomerate has culminated in a seventeen-piece unisex clothing collection. The pieces are adorned with various PlayStation symbols including the controller buttons.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-mario-all-stars-puma-shoe-collection-release-date\/\">Super Mario All-Stars Puma Shoe Collection Launches This Week<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>An advertisement was posted by SNIPES onto\u00a0his Instagram account. Set to 21 Savage&#8217;s &#8220;Runnin,&#8221; the ad sees a PS5-playing gamer transported into the game to play as the Atlanta rapper in several challenges, including basketball and racing.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CH3K8y_qviG\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This appearance by 21 Savage\u00a0\u2014 real name\u00a0Sh\u00e9yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph\u00a0\u2014 follows after Houston rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/travis-scott-playstation-strategic-creative-partner\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Travis Scott\u00a0became employed by Sony<\/a> as a &#8220;strategic creative partner&#8221; which saw him in several ads for the PS5. Scott also launched his own clothing collaboration, including a new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/travis-scott-x-playstation-sneakers-already-fakes\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nike SB Dunk Low<\/a> colorway. The two rappers have collaborated before on several tracks.<\/p>\n<p>21 Savage has had a considerable history with gaming. In 2019, he released the song &#8220;Immortal&#8221; which appeared in a trailer for\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat\u00a0<\/em><em>11<\/em>.\u00a0While the track contains the Atlanta rapper&#8217;s usual violent lyrics, there are also multiple references to\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat<\/em>. In a 2018 interview with Seth Rogen, 21 Savage revealed his affinity for\u00a0<em>Tekken<\/em> on the original\u00a0PlayStation and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/goldeneye-fan-remake-cease-desist\/\"><em>Goldeneye<\/em> on the Nintendo 64<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After a quiet 2019 that saw only &#8220;Immortal&#8221; be released, 21 Savage has been more productive in 2020.
