However, there has also been evidence proving to the collection listing being fake.<\/p>\n<p>According to the listing itself, the <em>Pokemon<\/em> games included in the collection are <em>Pokemon Red<\/em>, <em>Pokemon Gold<\/em>, and <em>Pokemon Ruby<\/em>. As some\u00a0Internet users have pointed out, the included games are very specific. For instance, the decision to include <em>Pokemon Ruby<\/em> and not <em>Sapphire<\/em>, or perhaps even the enhanced third version,\u00a0<em>Emerald<\/em>, is odd. If anything, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/pokemon-emerald-definitive-hoenn-omega-ruby-alpha-sapphire-are\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Pokemon<\/em> game that combines two games into one<\/a>, or simply both versions by themselves would make more sense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-title\"><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-legendary-regieleki-speed-comp\/\">Pokemon Sword and Shield&#8217;s Regieleki Dominates the Speed Game in Competitive Gameplay<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Another piece of evidence that may suggest that the collection is fake comes\u00a0Joe Merrick, webmaster of <em>Pokemon<\/em> news and information site Serebii.net. According to Merrick, he checked the Google cache for evidence tied to the <em>Pokemon Master Collection<\/em>&#8216;s page and wasn&#8217;t able to find anything of value. Furthermore, Merrick said\u00a0the collection rumor started <span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">after a Twitter account said &#8220;people hosting on Mario All Stars would be grumpy with Pokemon.&#8221; However, it was later confirmed that the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-dlc-expansion-pass-bundle-price\/\"><em>Pokemon Sword and Shield <\/em>DLC retail bundle<\/a> was being discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GameLeaksRumors\/status\/1325859779819032576?ref_src=https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-master-collection-rumor-november-2020\/twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1325859779819032576%7Ctwgr%5E&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegamer.com%2Fpokemon-master-collection-rumor-leak%2F%22 frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeMerrick\/status\/1325871427833257985\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Finally, taking a look at the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/pokemon\/\">Pokemon<\/a> Master Collection<\/em>&#8216;s description, one can see that it is full of mistakes. For example, Pallet Town and Team Magma are not capitalized, while the word &#8220;experience&#8221; is spelled as &#8220;experince.&#8221; Even the word &#8220;<em>Pokemon<\/em>&#8221; which is constantly used throughout the listing, becomes lower-cased at one point.<\/p>\n<p>Although it may be natural to have a few mistakes crop up in a listing, the abundance of errors takes away from its credibility given how big an operation Game Freak runs. Simply put, it goes to show how easy it is to make up listings, like with the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/red-dead-redemption-outlaws-collection-amazon-leak\/\">alleged <em>Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, with the evidence piling up, it may be difficult to advocate for the <em>Pokemon Master Collection<\/em>&#8216;s existence. That doesn&#8217;t mean a collection will not exist, as there have been other rumors about another <em>Pokemon<\/em> collection being worked on. Additionally, with the Macy&#8217;s Thanksgiving Day Parade right around the corner, it was revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-announcement-macys-thanksgiving-day-parade\/\">The Pokemon Company will have an announcement at the parade<\/a>.
