As was the case with November 2020, the free <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/playstation-plus\/\">PS Plus<\/a> games for December consist of three titles, comprised of two PS4 games and one\u00a0release that will be available on both PS4 and PS5.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning December 1, PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 can look forward to downloading\u00a0<em>Just Cause 4<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Rocket Arena<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Just Cause 4<\/em> is the latest entry in the action-packed\u00a0<em>Just Cause<\/em> open world series, whereas\u00a0<em>Rocket Arena<\/em> is a hero-shooter that released this past summer to somewhat mixed reviews.\u00a0<em>Rocket Arena<\/em> being part of the free PS Plus lineup for December 2020 could mean big things for the game, though, as it could give its community a serious shot in the arm. Of course, since the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps5-backward-compatibility-ps4-games\/\">PS5 is backward compatible with PS4<\/a>, both\u00a0<em>Just Cause 4<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Rocket Arena<\/em> will be available to PS5 owners as well. Both games will be available to claim until Monday, January 4.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps-plus-collection-ps5-storage-space\/\">PS Plus Collection Eats Up All of the PS5&#8217;s Storage Space<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The free PS5 game that&#8217;s part of the free PS Plus games for December 2020 lineup is\u00a0<em>Worms Rumble<\/em>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/worms-battle-royale-ps5\/\"><em>Worms Rumble<\/em> is a battle royale take<\/a> on the long-running\u00a0<em>Worms<\/em> strategy game series, and will be launching with cross-play support. The PS4 version will also be available, which is in contrast to\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em>, which only made its PS5 version available to PS Plus subscribers.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PlayStation\/status\/1331636577127305219\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PS Plus subscribers can still claim the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/free-ps-plus-games-november-2020-ps4-ps5\/\">free PS Plus games for November 2020<\/a>.\u00a0<em>Middle-earth: Shadow of War<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition<\/em> will be available until the end of the month, whereas PS Plus subscribers on PS5 can claim\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em> for free until January 4. Previously, it was believed that PS5 PS Plus games would be available for two month intervals, as is the case with\u00a0<em>Bugsnax<\/em>, but\u00a0<em>Worms Rumble\u00a0<\/em>only being available until January indicates that won&#8217;t always be the case.<\/p>\n<p>It will be interesting to see the free PS5 PS Plus game for January 2021 that replaces\u00a0<em>Bugsnax\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Worms Rumble<\/em>, but PS5 owners already know what&#8217;s coming in February. Planned-PlayStation 5 exclusive launch title\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/free-ps-plus-games-february-2021-destruction-allstars\/\"><em>Destruction AllStars<\/em><\/a> was hit with a last-minute delay, causing Sony to push the game back to February. Perhaps in an effort to make it up to fans who were disappointed by\u00a0<em>Destruction AllStars<\/em>&#8216; delay, Sony confirmed that the game would be part of the free PS Plus games for February 2021 lineup.
