One of the next big skin additions to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> may be meme-related, and it could star none other than Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-nfl-skins-2020\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em>\u2019s NFL skin crossover returning<\/a> recently, and dozens of Marvel skins having joined the game through Season 4, there are plenty of characters Dwayne Johnson has played that could fit well into <em>Fortnite<\/em>\u2019s universe. From his upcoming role as Black Adam in the DCEU, his wrestling attire, or even <em>The Scorpion King<\/em>, there are plenty of options for the <em>Fortnite<\/em> team. However, the hypothetical skin based on The Rock would take none of these forms, and instead would be based off a meme that \u201cThe Great One\u201d has never lived down.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dwayne-rock-johnson-hunts-jewel-thief-gal-gadot-red-notice\/\">Dwayne &#8216;The Rock&#8217; Johnson Hunts Jewel Thief Gal Gadot in Red Notice<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A float from the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day parade was seen paying homage to The Rock\u2019s fanny pack meme, which saw a young Dwayne Johnson sporting a hilarious haircut and outfit. The meme has spread over the last several years, and while <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pikachu-trending-twitter-why\/\">Pikachu\u2019s parade dance sequence<\/a> stole the show on Thanksgiving, this float still caught some attention. Twitter user BrandonDavisBD called out the float\u2019s similarity to a <em>Fortnite<\/em> skin, and it was not long before the comments echoed this statement.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrandonDavisBD\/status\/1331996616283353092?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While numerous commenters were quick to voice their support for the skin, a few were less enthusiastic. Comments ranged from \u201cI\u2019d buy this skin in a heartbeat\u201d to \u201cthanks I hate it,\u201d but every commenter agreed that the float\u2019s Rock parody resembled a skin from Epic\u2019s beloved battle royale. Twitter user Joshua Erenberg\u2019s \u201c&#8230;don\u2019t give them ideas\u201d comment was enough to spark a reply from the star, with The Rock taking a break from filming movies and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-buys-xfl\/\">planning out the XFL<\/a> to comment on the float.<\/p>\n<p>The Rock replied to Brandon Davis directly, saying \u201cway ahead of you, BD\u201d alongside a winky face emoji. A \u201cGreat Minds\u201d line of text was also seen within the tweet, with both lines hinting that The Rock could soon be contacting the <em>Fortnite<\/em> team about a skin based on the silly float and the fanny pack meme that inspired it. While there are <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/10-apex-legends-vs-fortnite-memes-funny-words\/\">plenty of funny <em>Fortnite<\/em> memes<\/a> already, Epic Games may soon be embracing another meme that is not related to its own game.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheRock\/status\/1332030269604327424?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, <em>Fortnite<\/em> players have plenty of skins to choose from until The Rock and his delightful fanny pack arrive.
