In <a href=\"https:\/\/misk.org.sa\/blog\/%D9%85%D8%A4%D8%B3%D8%B3%D8%A9-%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF-%D8%A8%D9%86-%D8%B3%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%86-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AE%D9%8A%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9-%D8%AA%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%86-%D8%B9%D9%86-%D8%A7%D8%B3%D8%AA\/\">a press release<\/a>, Misk outlined that it intends to acquire more of the company soon, too, noting that the current deal stipulates the Saudi Arabian firm will buy another 17.7% of SNK&rsquo;s shares, raising its ownership to 51% and &ndash; ultimately &ndash; becoming majority shareholder with 51% of the company to its name.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The King of Fighters XV announced, in development <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6hwWKL3kh7\">pic.twitter.com\/6hwWKL3kh7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Wario64 (@Wario64) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Wario64\/status\/1158138641253691392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 4, 2019<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>There have been some curious allegations leveled at Misk in recent years, and the organization came under fire as recently as November 2019 with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-usa-twitter-saudiarabia-idUSKBN1XG34W\"  rel=\"noopener\">the US Justice Department linking one of the organization executives recruiting spies via Twitter<\/a>&nbsp;(thanks, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2020-11-27-crown-prince-of-saudi-arabias-flagship-charity-buys-a-chunk-of-snk-and-it-wants-more\">Eurogamer<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Misk has stated that its goal is to invest in initiatives that will help &ldquo;cultivate and encourage learning and leadership in youth for a better future in Saudi Arabia.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>SNK is the company behind some of 90&rsquo;s gamings&rsquo; biggest hits and published the likes of Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and more besides.
