Despite the developer&rsquo;s insistence, it would get back to curious players within the hour, the studio actually took a full day to crunch the numbers and feedback to patient players (thanks, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2020-11-29-respawn-reveals-apex-legends-most-popular-characters\">Eurogamer<\/a>).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The correct order is:<\/p>\n<p>1. Neither of the Legends were available in-game when it launched, and typically we see the original characters maintain their popularity even as time goes on.<\/p>\n<p>Do the numbers listed up top surprise you, or are they pretty much in-line with what you were expecting?<\/p>\n<p>If you&rsquo;re wondering when we&rsquo;re going to get more content for the game, it&rsquo;s not yet clear &ndash; but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/12\/apex-legends-crunch-quads\/\">don&rsquo;t expect the studio to work its staff unfairly hard<\/a> in the name of shipping content.<\/p>\n<p>Respawn Entertainment has recently revealed that it won&rsquo;t make its staff work long hours to increase the amount of content for Apex Legends <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexlegends\/comments\/jpb4w3\/were_the_team_who_brought_you_horizon_olympus_and\/\">via an AMA on Reddit.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/10\/30\/apex-legends-season-7-gameplay-trailer\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Respawn recently launched the seventh season of Apex Legends<\/a>, which has introduced the Olympus map and the brand new character, Horizon.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/01\/apex-legends-beyond-battle-royale\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">The studio has teased that future seasons will &ldquo;probably&rdquo; expand the game &ldquo;beyond battle royale,&rdquo;<\/a>&nbsp;though it remains to be seen what that means.<\/p>\n<p>Apex Legends came to Steam at the start of November and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/11\/10\/apex-legends-steam-launch-concurrent-players\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">is already one of the most popular games on the PC platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
