As much as we love The Sims 4<\/em><\/a>, it can feel a bit lackluster at times. There’s only so much to do, even if you happen to have all the expansions, game packs, and stuff packs. Well, not to worry, there are hundreds upon hundreds of amazing mods to provide you with pretty much endless fun.<\/p>\n

While many of these mods are actually brilliant additions to the game, there are a few that have us scratching our heads and wondering why anyone would ever come up with these. If you’re looking to add some randomness into your game, take a look at these weird The Sims 4<\/em> mods that are guaranteed to entertain you.<\/p>\n

As new expansions keep rolling out, the modding community of devoted players are really the ones keeping the fans satisfied by providing important fixes or necessary additions to default content.\u00a0<\/em>They’re also fantastic at giving us mods that are hilarious and strange. For the times when you’d much prefer to have chaos rule your Sims worlds or maybe you just want to have something completely new and different, these mods will definitely come to the rescue despite how odd they are.<\/em><\/p>\n

15 <\/span>Fake News<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

In a series of mods that hits a little too close to home, there’s the\u00a0Ministry of Propaganda career mod<\/a>, for the times when your Sim wants to work as a news anchor for a particularly untrustworthy news outlet and eventually spread misinformation throughout their town.<\/p>\n

Sims can either end up as a news anchor for “alternative news” or reach the height of their career<\/a> as the President of Sim Nation. Ideal for crazy conspiracy theorist Sims, this silly mod is ideal if you’d like to experiment starting a whole cult in your world.<\/p>\n

14 <\/span>Xenomorphs<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The king of sci-fi movies, Alien has become an iconic pop culture reference throughout the decades. With that, it was only a matter of time everyone’s favorite monster and villain would get added into the world of The Sims 4<\/em>. It’s not exactly the place it fits into, but it’s as good as any.<\/p>\n

The Xenomorph mod<\/a> allows a Sim to basically become the infamous bloodthirsty alien. It comes with a few different color variations, which can be applied on any Sim in the full body outfit category. Combine this with the Book of Chaos mod and your neighborhood’s peace will forever be disturbed.<\/p>\n

13 <\/span>Marry Ghosts<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

It’s a real tragedy when a loved one dies in The Sims 4<\/em>, and one Sim is left alone to deal with the loss. Even as they interact with the ghost of their spouse, it might feel like it’s not quite enough. Well, not to worry, because the community decided to come up with a fix for this as well, despite how utterly bizarre it is.<\/p>\n

With this special mod<\/a>, Sims can now propose to ghosts and eventually even marry them. No need for tears anymore, since with this mod your Sims can basically stay together forever, even after death would normally do them apart. Morbid, but kind of cute and weird.<\/p>\n

12 <\/span>Fortnite Dances<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Ever thought that what the game really needs is more Fortnite<\/em>? Chances are, you’re not alone with that sentiment. Some Simmers love both games so much that they’ve decided to include those annoyingly funny and iconic Fortnite<\/em> dances into their game as dance moves.<\/p>\n

It’s now possible to see everyone, even elegant and proper Bella Goth break it down with these moves. The mod introduces about 50 brand-new dance moves<\/a>, and if autonomy settings are on you’ll also see random townies dance to these moves.<\/p>\n

11 <\/span>Deadly Toddlers<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Children can be scary, especially when your Sims become parents for the first time. It’s a lot of responsibility and work. However, what they might not expect is their little sweethearts suddenly showing an incredibly murderous streak.<\/p>\n

Toddlers were a handful before, but with the Deadly Toddlers mod<\/a>, they become terrifying in a way many have never seen before. Toddlers can and will attack other Sims, even the very people who brought them into the world and provided for them. A nightmarish and strange mod, indeed. What’s next, murderous Sims babies?<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Hats Galore<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Are you a fan of hats? Maybe you find that the selection within the game itself is just a bit too narrow for your tastes.\u00a0Luckily, there’s a handy mod<\/a> out there that can turn any object you’d like into a hat for your Sim. And yes, that truly does mean anything and everything.<\/p>\n

If you’ve always dreamed of having a couch as a hat, it’s now possible. Garbage bin hat? Also possible. Thanks to this mod you never have to limit your choices of hats to whatever the base game has to offer.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Big Brain Time<\/h2>\n

The Sims 4<\/em> has a ton of great sliders, but their range is a bit disappointing, to say the least. If you agree with this sentiment, you’ll definitely appreciate this mod<\/a> which allows you to expand or diminish your Sim’s head size as much as you want. No limits!<\/p>\n

While your game might not like you for it and you might see some strange clippings take place during various activities, it’s a fair price to pay to finally have the head size you’ve always dreamed of, whether it’s so tiny you can’t even see it or absolutely ginormous.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Expecting The Unexpected<\/h2>\n

Pregnancy is a wonderful yet physically tough time for women, but it’s really not fair that men don’t get to experience it. From taking a pregnancy test to experiencing the joy of all nine months of expecting, your male Sims can now also get pregnant thanks to the male pregnancy mod<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is true equality in action, and what’s even better is if you’re in a hurry to get tons of kids, you’ll be doing double the work with half the time! Pregnancy in The Sims 4<\/em><\/a> has never been this convenient and equal.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Chaos Unleashed<\/h2>\n

Sometimes it’s pretty frustrating how our Sims get treated. It seems like life and everyone in town have it against them. Not anymore. Enough is enough, and with The Book of Chaos, you can finally unleash vengeance upon your enemies at full force thanks to the Torture and Chaos<\/a> mod.<\/p>\n

From freezing someone to setting them on fire, you have tons of deliciously evil interactions at your disposal, which will make the Grim Reaper your new best friend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Twerk It<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There’s no other dancing style quite as iconic as twerking, and while our Sims might be talented on the dance floor as they are, it doesn’t hurt to learn a few new tricks every now and then. If you’re ever dreamed of making your Sim into the next big twerk sensation, look no further than this mod<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Your Sims will now have brand new animations where they get down and twerk to their heart’s content. You’ll be the highlight at the next dance party, that much is for sure!<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>The Omen, But Worse<\/h2>\n

Who doesn’t love a great ghost story? Unfortunately, the game is pretty tame when it comes to its ghosts. Your relatives just kind of annoy your Sim after they’ve passed, without really planting the fear of the dark in their hearts.<\/p>\n

Good thing we have the Possessed Child mod<\/a>, which lets you summon the most terrifying creature ever known to the Sims universe. A word of warning though: people will most likely die, so be careful when handling this mod in your game if you care about your household.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Romance To The Max<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Sims 4<\/em>, much like its earlier installments, is a pretty child-friendly game overall. And that’s all fine and good, but if for some reason you’re looking to really spice up your Sims’\u00a0WooHoo<\/a> habits and you’re well over the age of 18, this mod<\/a> lets you do just that.<\/p>\n

While some of it is quite explicit, other interactions such as enhanced kissing and cuddling can actually be pretty sweet. Just make sure you don’t share your game with anyone who’s not of the age to play this mod!<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Everyone’s A Murderer<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Unlike The Sims 4<\/em>, real life is pretty violent if you think about it. Crime and murder happen around us every day, yet the world of our Sims seems pretty peaceful now that burglars are no longer a feature in the game. Thankfully, the Extreme Violence mod<\/a> adds a bit (or a lot, depending on what you prefer) of spice into the lives of your Sims.<\/p>\n

Your Sims can stab, punch and shoot other Sims whenever you so please. There’s new death types<\/a> as well, some of which are quite horrifying. You can even turn on free will, which we would advise against since it might end up in the entire neighborhood just massacring each other.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>A Different Kind Of Appetite<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

If your Sim has a bit of a unique appetite and the old grilled cheese just isn’t cutting it, you can now download the cannibalism mod<\/a>, which allows your Sim to turn into flesh-hungry cannibals who love eating other Sims.<\/p>\n

It’s not the most ethical of ways to fill your plate for sure, and you might be shocked at your Sim randomly pulling out knives to butcher someone for food, but if it makes them happy does it really matter? We’ll leave the final judgment up to you.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Oh, The Feels!<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The emotion system in The Sims 4<\/em> is pretty nice, but it can get a bit boring after a while when everyone’s just passively enjoying their day and not trying to upset anyone. In reality, we’re not as rational as our Sims, which is what the Emotional Overcharge<\/a> mods seeks to remedy.<\/p>\n

Your Sims will now be more likely to be guided by their emotions, whether they’re positive or negative, even if other Sims are performing happy or kind interactions on them. Time to start a bar fight!<\/p>\n
