Yakuza: Like a Dragon<\/em><\/a> is packed full of subquests, as well as additional quests via the Part-time Hero feature. One of these quests is to find and retrieve 10 different cats, and it’s well worth doing as you are rewarded with\u00a0two\u00a0million yen, plus a new Poundmate<\/a>!<\/p>\n

This quest can be picked up as early as chapter five, but it won’t automatically appear as you progress like the other Part-time Hero quests. Players will\u00a0have\u00a0to trigger this quest by visiting Hiro-san in the Part-time Quest office in the North Jinnai Station area, in the same building as Cafe Brave. After visiting Hiro and seeing his cats, Ichiban will receive a call from Hiro to say that the cats have gone missing. Here’s where to find them!<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>North Jinnai Station<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The first of these elusive felines can be found just behind the batting center, at the back of the rectangular building at the far end. This little cat is sat\u00a0on the floor next to a tree\u00a0and when players get close, a green arrow will appear above its head, as well as a prompt to look as the player draws near.<\/p>\n

As this cat is the closest to the Part-time Hero office, it makes sense that\u00a0players grab this one first before moving on to find the others.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>West Jinnai Station<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The next cat to find can be found south from the last one, near West Jinnai Station. It’s not actually in the station, but south of it, inside a small, fenced-off area and on top of a dumpster. It’s rather handy that as you get close to the cats they start meowing, so if players can hear it but can’t see it, they know they are close.<\/p>\n

While quests that have players running all over the map can be tiresome, they are usually the most rewarding, such as finding the 10 Kappa statues for a reward of 2 million yen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>East Jinnai Station<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The next cat that\u00a0Ichiban<\/a>\u00a0has to find is in a familiar location, as it is on the grounds of the Sunlight Castle retirement home building that features earlier in the plot of the game. In the top right of the area surrounding the building, close to the building’s wall, this cat can be found atop a green box.<\/p>\n

That means there are now three cats down and seven to go, but fortunately, if players have interacted with a lot of taxi points, then quick traveling around the city is far easier.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Chinatown<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Next, players will want to head on over to Chinatown to find their next furry friend. This particular cat can be found atop a small wall on one of the busy streets that intersects between the buildings. The area is normally rammed with NPCs, so if players are struggling to find this cat, the location shown on the map above is the precise spot to visit.<\/p>\n

Once again, Hiro’s employee will meet\u00a0the player to retrieve the cat, before sending\u00a0them on\u00a0their way to find the others.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Hamakita Park<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

This is actually the first of two cats in Hamakita Park, but players can only find this one for the time being as the second can only be discovered after the first\u00a0nine have been located. Roughly in the middle of the large open area on the map, players will be able to find this cat hidden next to a drinking fountain.<\/p>\n

After interacting with this cat, it’s recommended to taxi to the lower portion of the city, where the rest of the cats are waiting. The next suggested location is in Restaurant Row, but the first nine cats can be found in any order really.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Restaurant Row<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

In Restaurant Row, in an alleyway off Ijin Street that corners off at the back into yet another smaller alleyway that is a dead-end, players will be able to find the next cat sitting pretty and waiting to be collected by Ichiban<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s the sixth cat collected, four more to go. After interacting with this cat, the remaining cats in the southern area of the city are all on the eastern side, so players should grab another taxi for a quicker trip.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Commercial District<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Players should be familiar with the location of the can collecting minigame<\/a>, as they would have been guided here during an earlier part of the plotline.\u00a0Don’t be fooled by the location on the map, as despite being able to hear the cat meowing while on the ground floor, this streetsmart cat is actually hidden on the top floor.<\/p>\n

Players can access the stairs close to the can collecting NPC, or there is a ladder at the other end of the building. There, on the upper level of the car park, the next cat can be found chilling out behind a car on the southernmost edge of the car park.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Bar District<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The\u00a0eighth cat can be found a little south of the location of Survive Bar, the favorite hangout spot of Ichiban and his friends. It’s just near the very unique wall sculpture that players will likely have noticed while running around the area.<\/p>\n

This shy little cat is hidden in a doorway to the right of the large wall sculpture, which means it’s easily missed if\u00a0players are looking from the wrong direction or not using a guide.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Sunrise Street<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The ninth cat can be found\u00a0on Sunrise street, close to the water’s edge. He’s sat atop a box underneath a bright green awning, so this cat shouldn’t be hard to spot.<\/p>\n

After interacting with this cat, players need to taxi back to the Part-time Hero office\u00a0to hand in their\u00a0quest<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0receive one million yen. For the other\u00a0one million yen and the Poundmate, players will have to listen to Hiro’s extra request\u00a0\u2014 find his last cat, Robson-chan.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Hamakita Park<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Robson-chan only appears after all other nine cats have been found and Ichiban has returned to hand in his quest to Hiro-san. After this, a new quest is active and players will want to head back to Hamakita park to find their last feline friend.<\/p>\n

This cat can be found in the north-eastern area of the park, sat atop a lamp. Once\u00a0players have interacted with Robson-chan, this quest is complete and they’ll get their other\u00a0one million yen and a brand-new Poundmate<\/a> – Robson-chan himself!<\/p>\n
