Unfortunately, as a new mod reminds, it also means that the Switch re-release has brought back one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/5-things-fans-loved-about-super-mario-sunshine-5-things-we-hated\/\">things people hate about <em>Mario Sunshine<\/em> the most<\/a>: the chucksters.<\/p>\n<p>On paper, the random members of Isle Delfino\u2019s Pianta people who chuck Mario into the air whenever players talk to them hardly seem like anything\u00a0more than a wacky addition. But the chucksters have become infamous for the way they\u2019re incorporated into the game\u2019s platforming. Specifically, one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/super-mario-nintendo-shigeru-miyamoto-worst-designed-levels\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">all-time worst <em>Mario<\/em> levels<\/a> is all about trying to get chucksters to hurl Mario across large bottomless pits towards increasingly-smaller platforms, something that\u2019s near-impossible to do with any sense of precision.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-mario-sunshine-switch-gamecube-controller-update\/\">Super Mario Sunshine Now Compatible With GameCube Controller<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tapping into the trauma many players got from the many botched throws, Twitter user chet_rippo showed off a mod of theirs this weekend that makes a slight change to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/super-mario-sunshine\/\"><em>Super Mario<\/em>\u00a0<em>Sunshine<\/em><\/a>, that being that all of the game\u2019s NPCs are now chucksters. This is illustrated perfectly with a chaotic video clip showing a random Pianta hurl Mario right into a large patch of fiery sludge.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chet_rippo\/status\/1332818384828981250\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Taking things a lot further, they shared another clip showing Toadsworth, Princess Peach\u2019s steward, seemingly throwing Mario as high up as the game allows, providing viewers with a view of Isle Delfino in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chet_rippo\/status\/1333137019036463107\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Since the games included in <em>Super Mario 3D All-Stars<\/em> are <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-mario-3d-stars-emulation-disappointing-exciting\/\">emulations of their original releases<\/a>, it means newcomers to <em>Sunshine<\/em> will have to deal with the chucksters sooner or later, just as players before them had to back in the GameCube days.
