Assassin’s Creed Valhalla\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is\u00a0jam-packed with Easter eggs and references, offering clever nods in just about every nook and cranny. Now, a new Easter egg is beginning to circulate, one that references the popular roleplaying game\u00a0Dungeons and Dragons.<\/em> It’s\u00a0a cool nod to the tabletop RPG, packing in everything from character sheets to the\u00a0Dungeon Master’s campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First noticed by @PlayWithJambo on Twitter, the Easter egg is located at Foris Turre in Wessex. Instead of being called\u00a0Dungeons and Dragons\u00a0<\/em>outright,\u00a0Valhalla\u00a0<\/em>dubs the game Prisons and Pyewackets, though one of the lines in the Dungeon Master’s notes references “the faded glory found in the bones of dungeons and the mouths of dragons,” a very clear reference to the game’s title.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Dungeon Master’s notes, the four character sheets are loosely modeled after Dungeons and Dragons<\/em><\/a>. The characters are interesting, to say the least, including one that is a “bearserker” and another that can communicate with cats and dogs, turning their meows and barks into magic. There are even dice trays scattered around the scene, seemingly abandoned by their owners.<\/p>\n
