Just in case there’s still folks who still haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame<\/em><\/a>, there’ll be major spoilers ahead. But really, the headline should have been enough of a clue.<\/p>\n

While promoting the digital release of Dreamland<\/em><\/a>, Kerry Condon, the actress behind the voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y., talked about recording her lines for when Tony Stark sacrificed himself in order to defeat Thanos at the climax of Avengers: Endgame<\/em>. And it seems like it was as much of a shock to her as it was to cinema audiences.<\/p>\n

Talking about her work in the MCU<\/a>, the Irish actress was worried that she was suddenly out of a job saying “At the time I was like, ‘But there\u2019s hope, right? He\u2019s not totally dead,\u2019 and they kinda looked at me like (pulls a face)\u00a0 I go, \u2018Oh my god!\u2019 I knew my gravy train had just come to a halt! And so they said, \u2018Say it like it\u2019s the saddest thing you\u2019ve ever said.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Well, that won\u2019t be f***ing hard! It\u2019s all over!'”<\/p>\n

Condon also gave some insight into what it’s like to be the voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y. saying \u201cA lot of the time I was doing it to a blank screen because either they didn\u2019t want to show me what it was or it wasn\u2019t fully done.\u00a0 So you really have to use your imagination and go, \u2018Okay, so how high are the stakes? Is this the last battle of the movie or is it the first battle?\u2019 You know, so you can kind of know how much to give.\u201d<\/p>\n
