This time around, it looks like players on a variety of platforms &ndash; PC, console, mobile and mixed reality &ndash; will be able to take part in this event.<\/p>\n<p>This is on top of The Game Awards Sale, which will be running across PC and console.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/12\/02\/uncharted-tom-holland-game-awards\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Uncharted actor Tom Holland is going to be making an appearance at this year&rsquo;s Game Awards<\/a>, as will Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. There&rsquo;s also going to be the same mix of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2019\/12\/05\/the-game-awards-2019-will-feature-around-10-new-game-announcements\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">trailers, first-looks and reveals that the awards show has become known for<\/a>. Oh, and some awards, too.<\/p>\n<p>The Game Awards is taking place on December 10.<\/p>\n<p>This comes in the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/05\/01\/summer-game-fest-may-august-news-events-games\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Geoff Keighley&rsquo;s four-month Summer Game Fest<\/a>, which ran between May and August of this year. During this time, the all-digital event revealed breaking news, in-game events and playable content from some of the biggest publishers in the world.
