One such concept sees support hero Brigitte donning special Christmas attire, and it is hard to imagine anything better for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/overwatch\/\"><em>Overwatch<\/em><\/a> member than this fan design.<\/p>\n<p>The skin concept sees the daughter of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-torbjorn-easter-egg-world-of-warcraft\/\">founding <em>Overwatch<\/em> member Torbjorn<\/a> dressed from head to toe in Christmas decorations, and the festive look has a great name to match. Going by \u201cGingerbrig,\u201d this version of the shield-wielding hero sees Brig\u2019s armor replaced by Gingerbread cookies. The design also sees an actual Gingerbread attached to Brigitte\u2019s shield, with a cookie-like texture wrapped around the defensive item.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-junkrat-steel-trap-mei-cryo-freeze\/\">Clever Overwatch Trick Gives Junkrat An Advantage Over Mei<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The skin concept comes courtesy of Reddit user Annzey and their friend who brought the idea to life. The mockup quickly garnered praise from fans of the hero shooter. With players previously <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-brigitte-torbjorn-ultimate\/\">giving Brigitte a new ultimate<\/a>, fan edits for the cheerful character seem to be a popular hobby for <em>Overwatch<\/em> lovers. More than just a pretty, holiday-themed shield and armor set, however, little details help bring the armor set to life \u2014 such as the spotted gloves on Brig\u2019s hands and the mistletoe in her hair.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Overwatch\/comments\/k4vzxs\/gingerbrig_concept_art_so_a_while_ago_i_had\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web2x&#038;context=3\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With 2020\u2019s version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/overwatch-winter-wonderland-skins-2019\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the <em>Overwatch<\/em> Winter Wonderland event<\/a> likely days away, the skin concept comes at a perfect time. Though it may be too late for Blizzard to take inspiration from the skin and include it within the upcoming event, perhaps an official addition can release with next year\u2019s version of Winter Wonderland. Regardless, the skin is deserving of the praise, as Brig\u2019s frosting-covered neckpiece and gumdrop shoulder pads make for an amazing look, unlike anything else that currently exists for the hero.<\/p>\n<p>The special Brigitte skin concept is complete with a redesigned mace, as the new melee weapon appears to be a mixture of a tree ornament and candy canes. The Gingerbrig skin captures the Christmas spirit without going overboard, and it easily ranks among some of the best <em>Overwatch<\/em> skin concepts. With fans recently creating a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-mccree-skin-concept-toy-story-woody\/\">Toy Story McCree skin concept<\/a> as well, the community seems to have no shortage of ideas for future skin designs. Gingerbrig is a detailed mockup, and Annzey knocked the design out of the park.<\/p>\n<p>It will be interesting to see if Blizzard takes notice of the holiday-themed Brigitte design.
