With recent rumors suggesting a <em>Halo<\/em> battle royale as well as a Master Chief cameo in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>, one dedicated fan made a mockup of what Spartan 117 could look like if he landed in Tilted Towers.<\/p>\n<p>With 343 shooting down <em>Halo<\/em> battle royale rumors, fans have begun to theorize that the rumors in question were never actually about <em>Halo Infinite<\/em>. Instead, fans are now insisting that a <em>Fortnite<\/em> crossover starring Master Chief could be on the way, citing Epic\u2019s consistent push for cameo characters alongside leaked photos. The <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-dataminers-halo-master-chief-skin\/\">datamined <em>Halo<\/em> crossover images<\/a> were enough to inspire one <i>Fortnite\u00a0<\/i>fan to make their own mock-up of Master Chief, and he fits perfectly inside Epic&#8217;s universe.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-zero-point-hunting-grounds-season-5-story-trailer\/\">Fortnite Season 5 Story Trailer Introduces the Zero Point and Hunting Grounds<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Fans have pushed for Master Chief cameos in other games like <em>Super Smash Bros.<\/em>, and though <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-master-chief-xbox\/\">Xbox has hinted at the possibility<\/a>, nothing has come from the hype. If Twitter user UriL343 has their way, however, Chief will be leaving the Battle Bus soon. Master Chief translates perfectly to <em>Halo<\/em>\u2019s art style, as the mockup shows him looking much like he would in a proper <em>Halo<\/em> appearance. Wielding one of <em>Fortnite<\/em>\u2019s pistols alongside detailed text that mimics other official crossovers, the mockup looks incredible.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UriL343\/status\/1334253390256361473?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While not shown in this specific image, there are plenty of opportunities for Master Chief\u2019s iconic weaponry to be included alongside the skin. Like <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-season-5-mandalorian-baby-yoda\/\">the addition of The Mandalorian<\/a> and his disintegration rifle, Master Chief could wield\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em>&#8216;s assault rifle or something more exotic like the Needler. Further, Chief could see his axe replaced with a gravity hammer or energy sword, with the other used as back bling for the iconic protagonist. Further, if Master Chief really did come to the <em>Fortnite<\/em> universe, an interesting scenario would become available to Epic Games.<\/p>\n<p>With PlayStation\u2019s iconic Spartan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/fortnite-kratos-god-of-war-boy\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kratos coming to <em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>, a Spartan vs. Spartan matchup could be set up \u2014 and, more specifically, a console war. Having PlayStation and Xbox users compete against each other using Kratos and Master Chief respectively, this hypothetical event could be extremely unique and exciting.<\/p>\n<p>While this is purely speculation, a console war event may be the only way for Epic Games to top <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-galactus-event-viewership-numbers-record\/\">the success of the Galactus event<\/a>.
