Monster Hunter World<\/em><\/strong> is no stranger to crossovers, from\u00a0Final Fantasy<\/em> to\u00a0Assassin’s Creed<\/em>, the game has had its fair share of collaborations. While not an official Monster Hunter World<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>collaboration, players can now add\u00a0Doom<\/em> and to a lesser extent,\u00a0Animal Crossing<\/em>, to that list thanks to a mod by LyraVeil and IIICrimsonIII.<\/p>\n

One franchise that\u00a0Monster Hunter World<\/em> collaborated with was\u00a0The Witcher<\/em><\/a>. With that collaboration, the leshen from\u00a0The Witcher<\/em> was added as a monster for players to hunt. This new Doom\u00a0<\/em>mod takes the skeleton of the leshen to make the Marauder from\u00a0Doom Eternal<\/em> into a new monster within\u00a0Monster Hunter World.<\/em> The Marauder does not replace the leshen in the games’ files, but the mod creators do warn that this mod can cause the leshen to behave abnormally and thus recommends players have someone else host any hunts against the leshen or ancient leshen.<\/p>\n

It wouldn’t be\u00a0Monster Hunter\u00a0<\/em>without gear to make<\/a> from defeating\u00a0a new monster. This mod has players covered with armor sets for both the player and their palico, as well as weapons (again including for the palico) and a pendant. The Marauder armor replaces the Savage Deviljho armor and the weapons replace the standard Nergigante weapons. As for the palico, the mod replaces the Rathian gear. However, this is where\u00a0Animal Crossing\u00a0<\/em>comes in. The Moogle palico gear (from the aforementioned\u00a0Final Fantasy\u00a0<\/em>collaboration) is replaced by armor that turns one’s palico into Isabelle from\u00a0Animal Crossing<\/em>.<\/p>\n
