Alongside the release of the art for the well-reviewed <em>Crash 4<\/em>, an obvious teaser for a fourth <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/spyro-the-dragon\/\"><em>Spyro the Dragon<\/em><\/a> game has been discovered.<\/p>\n<p>There is plenty that could be done <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/new-spyro-game\/\">with a potential <em>Spyro 4<\/em><\/a>, but much like the latest <em>Crash<\/em> game, keeping what fans loved about the original trilogy intact will be incredibly important for the developers. However, with Toys for Bob nailing the remasters of the first three games and creating a successful follow-up for Crash Bandicoot, it seems like Spyro is in good hands if he gets a sequel. Based on a new teaser, that sequel could be coming sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/best-worst-spyro-boss-fights\/\">The Best and Worst Spyro Boss Fights<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Much like with the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spyro-reignited-trilogy-art-book-available\/\">art book released for <em>Spyro Reignited Trilogy<\/em><\/a>, Toys for Bob has included some commentary alongside certain images inside <em>Crash 4<\/em>\u2019s art book. Captured by the Twitter account SpyroUniverse, one bit of concept art showcases Crash\u2019s journey to Dingo\u2019s Diner. The description of the image mentions the \u201ccity down below,\u201d and more importantly, \u201ca little hint at Spyro.\u201d Sure enough, Spyro the Dragon can be seen in the image if fans look closely.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SpyroUniverse\/status\/1335968093856739328?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While this could normally be viewed as a fun nod to the developer\u2019s other work, or Spyro existing within Crash\u2019s universe, it appears to be more of a tease at the character\u2019s future. While an image of Spyro can clearly be seen displayed on one of the buildings, with the character\u2019s name written below, that is not all there is to see. On the very same building, a large number 4 is well, a massive teaser for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spyro-4-crash-bandicoot-learn\/\">a possible <em>Spyro 4<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With fans <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tony-hawks-pro-skater-1-2-spyro-3-skate-parks\/\">recreating <em>Spyro 3<\/em>\u2019s skate parks<\/a> inside <em>Tony Hawk\u2019s Pro Skater 1 + 2<\/em>, there is clearly still plenty of love being shared for the classic gaming mascot. Based on this massive art book teaser, Crash Bandicoot will not be the only PS1-era character to get a new game. While it is unclear what a modern <em>Spyro<\/em> would look like or what characters would be involved, players should be hopeful when it comes to the idea of a new <em>Spyro<\/em> title releasing soon. Based on <em>Crash 4<\/em>, players should expect a bigger and longer game that evolves the series in new ways while keeping its charm intact.<\/p>\n<p>Though the not-so-hidden \u201chint\u201d at the future of the <em>Spyro<\/em> series is incredibly exciting, fans have been given no idea on when info will be shared on the project.
