In addition, total player time in-game this year to date has nearly doubled compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Shadowlands is the eighth expansion to the long-running MMORPG and was released on November 23.  It was originally slated to arrive on October 27.<\/p>\n<p>In the weeks and months ahead, players can expect more content coming with the expansion. Starting today, Shadowlands Season 1 will see the expansion&rsquo;s first raid, Castle Nathria. The stronghold of Revendreth will be open in Normal and Heroic difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>Keystone dungeons will also become available and full of rewards for taking on increased challenges.
