Adding to the list is the announcement that Lyn Inaizumi will be performing music from <a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/persona-5\"><em>Persona 5<\/em><\/a> at The Game Awards 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Lyn Inaizumi is the\u00a0singer behind <em>Persona 5<\/em>&#8216;s well-loved soundtrack,\u00a0providing her vocal talent to\u00a0the original and <em>Royal<\/em> renditions of the game, as well as its <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/persona-5-strikers-release-date-pc-ps4-switch\/\">upcoming spin-off, <em>Persona 5 Strikers<\/em><\/a>. Her music has been widely appreciated by the <em>Persona 5<\/em> fandom as one of the many enjoyable aspects of the game.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/persona-5-strikers-pc-steam\/\">Persona 5 Strikers on Steam Likely Means Persona 5 Follows Suit<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This news comes by way of an official tweet made by executive producer of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/game-awards-2020-geoff-keighley-12-15-unannounced-games\/\">The Game Awards<\/a>, Geoff Keighley. Keighley revealed that, as the Game Awards will be held in multiple locations this year, the Tokyo portion of the pre-show\u00a0will contain a musical performance by Inaizumi featuring music from <em>Persona<\/em>. There&#8217;s no further word on what songs she may perform or how long the performance will be, but fans should plan on tuning in if they want to listen to a live rendition of some of their favorite <em>Persona 5<\/em> songs.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/geoffkeighley\/status\/1336324662993723392\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It makes plenty of sense for The Game Awards to be highlighting <em>Persona 5<\/em> during the pre-show. <em>Persona 5 Royal<\/em>, the expanded spin-off of the original PS3\/PS4 RPG, has been nominated for Best RPG of the Year at the awards show, where it will go head-to-head with titles like fellow SEGA game <em>Yakuza: Like a Dragon<\/em> and Square Enix&#8217;s <em>Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Fans may also take this as a sign that something new for <em>Persona 5 Strikers<\/em> may be shown during The Game Awards. While the official teaser for the western release of the game only just premiered a short time ago, The Game Awards is no stranger to the <em>Persona 5<\/em> fandom, also serving as the place where <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-dlc-joker-anniversary\/\">Joker was announced for <em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em><\/a> during the game&#8217;s initial DLC fighter pass. With a heavy emphasis on <em>Persona 5<\/em> in particular this year, it stands to reason that at the very least, a teaser or new footage of the game may be shown to the audience at some point during the full broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, gamers won&#8217;t have to wait all too long for either the promise of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/persona-5-strikers-atlus-heres-how-to-start-playing-four-days-early-release-date\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new <em>Persona 5 Strikers<\/em><\/a> footage or the full game&#8217;s release. Despite the delay from Atlus and Sega announcing plans to release the game in the west, <em>Persona 5 Strikers<\/em> is already slated for release in early 2021.
