The Twitch pet is designed around the streaming service&#8217;s logo and is only available to earn for a limited time.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AmongUsGame\/status\/1336733577292242946\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>December is already a big month for the game, as a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-map-game-awards-2020\/\">new map for <em>Among Us<\/em> will be revealed at The Game Awards<\/a> tomorrow night. InnerSloth has teased that the new map will be significantly influenced by the developer&#8217;s\u00a0other game released this year, <em>The Henry Stickmin Collection<\/em>, a mini-game collection that&#8217;s host to several Newgrounds style mini-games.<\/p>\n<p><em>Among Us<\/em> is one of 2020&#8217;s most popular games, with the game remaining on Twitch&#8217;s top 10 streamed games for several months over the course of 2020. <em>Among Us<\/em> has become so mainstream that\u00a0US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Canadian MP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/aoc-jagmeet-singh-among-us-charity-200k\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jagmeet Singh streamed\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em><\/a> with several notable Twitch and YouTube influencers. All told, the livestream raised $200,000 for charities, aimed at\u00a0assisting those affected by COVID-19 in a multitude of ways.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the game&#8217;s popularity, many fans are still hoping for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-new-features-wishlist\/\">new features to be added to\u00a0<em>Among Us<\/em><\/a> that can help with some smaller issues many players are having with the game&#8217;s growth. One such addition would be the inclusion of\u00a0proximity-based in-game voice chat, where players would be able to hear each other within a certain range. Currently, players are using third-party software to add this element to the game, which adds a whole new layer of challenge and depth for imposters to navigate<\/p>\n<p>In an effort to support more languages and reach out to more players, InnerSloth is currently working on\u00a0an update that will <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/among-us-language-support-first-wave\/\">support more languages in <em>Among Us<\/em><\/a> across the game&#8217;s UI, including\u00a0French, German, and Portuguese.
