The annual awards show is known for hosting the announcements of a ton of new games and 2020 is going to be much the same. Host Geoff Keighley&#8217;s already confirmed over a dozen game announcements for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/the-game-awards\/\">The Game Awards 2020<\/a>. Two of them have been confirmed as coming from publisher Focus Home Interactive. Focus Home Interactive didn&#8217;t share any more details, but a new leak may have spoiled the publisher&#8217;s surprises.<\/p>\n<p>Following confirmation that Focus Home Interactive would have &#8220;two major reveals&#8221; at The Game Awards 2020, Gematsu reported what could be the titles of the two new games. <em>Evil West<\/em> and <em>Shady Part of Me<\/em> are the two games&#8217; names, both of which appeared as trademarks from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/focus-home-interactive-deck13\/\">Focus Home Interactive<\/a> in mid-November. The trademark information apparently only referenced Focus Home Interactive and not the games&#8217; respective development studios.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/game-awards-2020-geoff-keighley-12-15-unannounced-games\/\">The Game Awards Will Feature 12-15 Unannounced Games<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, further investigation reportedly led to more specific details. For example, <em>Shady Part of Me<\/em> is apparently being developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-assassins-creed-yellow-brick-games-mike-laidlaw-bioware\/\">indie studio<\/a> Douze-Dixiemes. The team made a post about the game as far back as November 2018, perhaps before it had a publishing agreement with Focus Home Interactive.\u00a0Following that discovery, a Microsoft profile for <em>Shady Part of Me<\/em> was also discovered. This likely implies that the game is near to release, and could even be released during The Game Awards 2020 in a surprise announcement.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gematsucom\/status\/1336747798990086158\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Shady Part of Me<\/em> mixes <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nintendo-pokemon-games-2d-3d-better\/\">2D and 3D gameplay<\/a> to create a clever sort of puzzle game. In 3D, players play a little girl exploring &#8220;surreal dreamscapes,&#8221; which can be switched to 2D where players take control of the girl&#8217;s shadow. Both will have to work together to progress through <em>Shady Part of Me<\/em>&#8216;s &#8220;emotional and dream-like journey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Less is known about Focus Home Interactive&#8217;s other game, <em>Evil West<\/em>. The game has a blank Facebook page, as well as a webpage that hasn&#8217;t been set up within Focus Home Interactive&#8217;s network. Gematsu speculates that it&#8217;s a game from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/shadow-warrior-flying-wild-hog-new-game\/\">Flying Wild Hog<\/a>, the developer of <em>Shadow Warrior<\/em>. Flying Wild Hog announced a partnership\u00a0with Focus Home Interactive in late September, though no details about Flying Wild Hog&#8217;s game were shared at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Interested gamers should keep a touch of skepticism, however. These are just two likely possibilities for what Focus Home Interactive could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/the-game-awards-2020-ama-new-games-length-geoff-keighley\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announce during The Game Awards 2020<\/a>, and\u00a0there&#8217;s a chance that there are two other games that will be announced, instead.
