Alinity is no stranger to controversy on Twitch. Sometimes the controversy making the rounds is on the level of petty high-school antics<\/a>, but on occasion, there is a more serious nature to news surrounding the Twitch streamer. Jabs are taken, and feelings get hurt often on social media platforms, but usually it blows over. However, the latest spat Alinity finds herself in has the streamer standing up against, completely uncalled for, bullying from members of 100 Thieves content creation team The Mob.<\/p>\n

With nearly 1.3 million followers, Alinity is one of the bigger names on Twitch. As such, she generates headlines whenever something happens in her world. She faced harassment when Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch<\/a>, and was investigated by her local SPCA after throwing her cat on stream. There’s a lot of baggage that follows Alinity, though the most recent issue is a case where people should take notice.<\/p>\n

Mob members Froste, Classy, and JhbTeam have engaged in a feud with Alinity over toxicity on the internet after Alinity called them out for decrying toxic behavior while actively promoting it in other ways. After Froste tweeted his support for fellow streamer Jawsh, who made a statement\u00a0against the toxic nature of ‘stan culture’ and tribalized fan communities, Alinity stepped in and questioned Froste about whether sending his followers after Alinity was the same kind of toxicity that Jawsh wanted to abolish. Instead of seeing how the two correlated, the Mob boys decided to fire back at Alinity, laying bare their hypocrisy regarding toxic behavior online<\/a>.<\/p>\n
