The first of these projects will be\u00a0<em>Headspace Guide to Meditation<\/em>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/netflix\/\">Netflix<\/a> has\u00a0debuted\u00a0the first official preview for the series ahead of its New Year&#8217;s Day premiere.<\/p>\n<p>Vox Media Studios and Headspace Studios will produce all three projects with a team of executive producers that includes\u00a0Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, Chris Grosso, Sam Rogoway, Morgan Selzer, and Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicombe, according to The Hollywood Reporter.\u00a0<em>Headspace Guide to Meditation\u00a0<\/em>will be followed by\u00a0<em>Headspace Guide to Sleep<\/em> and an untitled interactive experience later in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/kevin-hart-wesley-snipes-netflix-true-story\/\">Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes Teaming Up in Netflix Limited Series<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Per Netflix&#8217;s official description of the series, <em>Headspace Guide to Sleep<\/em> will explore the foundation of meditation and how it can help people be more present and less distracted.\u00a0Puddicombe, a <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/dungeons-dragons-way-ascendant-dragon-monk-dnd-subclass\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">former Buddhist monk<\/a>, will narrate\u00a0<em>Headspace Guide to Sleep<\/em>\u00a0as &#8220;playful animations and soothing music&#8221; accompany his voice. &#8220;When was the last time that you did nothing? And by nothing, I really mean nothing,&#8221; asks\u00a0Puddicombe at the beginning of the trailer for the series released yesterday. &#8220;The best way of experiencing mediation is to actually do it, not to just talk about it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/H77PL7SlI1M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Each 20-minute episode of <em>Headspace Guide to Meditation<\/em>\u00a0will focus on a different benefit of meditation, from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rilakkuma-and-kaoru-stop-motion-japan\/\">managing stress<\/a> to embracing gratitude.\u00a0Puddicombe will begin each entry by teaching viewers basic approaches and techniques of the practice before concluding the session with a guided meditation. The series will be subtitled and dubbed in 30 languages.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix&#8217;s venture into wellness and self-care is not the only new project audiences can expect from the service early in the new year. The company also recently debuted a trailer for a docuseries in which <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nicolas-cage-netflix-history-of-swear-words\/\">Nicolas Cage will explore the history of curse words<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These calming and informative projects from Netflix may be what&#8217;s needed for audiences before the third season of <em>Cobra Kai<\/em> debuts.
