Releasing earlier this year,\u00a0Desperados 3\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>marked the first entry in the tactical Western franchise since 2006, managing to wow fans and score a phenomenal 86 on Metacritic. To celebrate the game’s success, it seems Mimimi Games and THQ Nordic<\/a> have elected to add some new content for eager fans, with the\u00a0recently added\u00a0“Bounty Mode” opening a wide suite of new options to players.<\/p>\n

The first will be the option to replay portions of Desperados 3<\/a>‘s<\/em>\u00a0campaign with characters only unlockable during later chapters, allowing for a wealth of new scenarios and fun retreads. The trailer for the mode seems to hint there might even be new dialogue for the game’s story moments as well, with characters acknowledging they aren’t meant to be present in specific scenes.<\/p>\n

The second addition is the ability to wield\u00a0“level editing cheats,” allowing the player to essentially build their own maps. In the trailer, the feature\u00a0looks to be pretty extensive, as the player places explosive barrels, enemy units, and other objects throughout various areas. It’s essentially a mission editor, with Mimimi Games<\/a> even confirming that players can save their edited maps and share them online. It’ll hopefully lead to some substantial new levels\u00a0being created and passed around by the community.<\/p>\n
