But amid the AAA reveals of games like <em>Ark 2<\/em> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/perfect-dark-the-initiative-game-awards-2020\/\">new <em>Perfect Dark<\/em> game<\/a>, there was an interesting-looking indie game announced, known as <strong><em>Season<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The game is the latest from Scavengers Studio, the developer behind the 2018 battle royale game <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/darwin-project-development-end\/\"><em>The Darwin Project<\/em><\/a>, and as far as tone goes, the reveal trailer makes it look like a complete departure from that title. Described as a &#8220;third-person atmospheric bicycle road trip adventure game,&#8221; <em>Season<\/em>\u00a0looks like it will appeal to fans of more artsy and contemplative gaming experiences.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/back-4-blood-gameplay-trailer\/\">Left 4 Dead Successor Back 4 Blood Reveals New Gameplay<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Aside from revealing the first look at <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-4-game-awards-2020-special-look\/\">The Game Awards<\/a>, Scavengers also provided the first details about the game&#8217;s story. <em>Season<\/em> will place players in the role of a young woman leaving her secluded village and exploring the world for the first time.
