Marvelous’ gritty third-person mech shooter\u00a0Daemon X Machina<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0just celebrated its one year anniversary last month.<\/a> And although the game was received with generally mixed reviews, support has been shown for the game throughout the year in the form of a variety of updates and DLC.<\/p>\n

While Daemon X Machina<\/em><\/a> initially released on Nintendo Switch last September, it released on PC this past February. XSEED Games, publisher of the game on PC, has announced that cross-save functionality for seamless cloud save data transfer between the Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game has been enabled through the Steam Cloud.<\/p>\n

While the Nintendo Switch already allows for players to enjoy\u00a0the game both at home and portably on the go, this update will certainly be useful for anyone who is looking to experience\u00a0Daemon X Machina<\/em>\u00a0on both platforms.<\/a>\u00a0Players can now opt\u00a0to play on a high-powered PC at home, and then continue\u00a0their\u00a0playthrough on the go on their Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n

This new update comes just about a month after\u00a0Daemon X Machina<\/em>‘s first-anniversary update from November, which added cosmetics such as Arsenal decals and designs, a new “Destroy Eclipse RT: \u03a9 Destruction” co-op Order, and even more unlockable content.\u00a0Just about a year ago, the game released its third cross-over\u00a0DLC featuring\u00a0content based on\u00a0The Witcher 3<\/em>,<\/a> in addition to DLC based on the anime\u00a0Code Geass<\/em> and\u00a0Eureka Seven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Though the end of the year is rapidly approaching, it seems that game developer Marvelous<\/a> is intent on continuing to add new content for players of\u00a0Daemon X Machina\u00a0<\/em>to enjoy on both\u00a0Nintendo Switch and PC. It will be interesting to see what the developer has in store for the game next in\u00a02021.<\/p>\n
