Luckily what Disney delivered went far beyond most people\u2019s expectations, especially when it comes to content that can be enjoyed right at home on Disney+.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from dropping new trailers <strong><em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em><\/strong>, <em>Loki<\/em>, <em>WandaVision<\/em>, and a first look at the animated <em>What If&#8230;?<\/em>; Disney confirmed some of what it has in store for the future with the newly announced <em>Secret Invasion<\/em> (starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury), <em>Ironheart<\/em> and <em>Armor Wars<\/em> (starring Don Cheadle as War Machine); and even provided some <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/hawkeye-disney-plus-recap\/\">casting news for the likes of <em>Hawkeye<\/em><\/a>, <em>Moon Knight<\/em>, <em>She-Hulk<\/em> and <em>Ms. Marvel<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/i-am-groot-guardians-of-the-galaxy-holiday-special\/\">I Am Groot and Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Announced<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yet the biggest highlights from Marvel were of course the first look trailers for a group of shows that had generated a lot of buzz, despite relatively little being known about them. Nevertheless, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/the-falcon-and-the-winter-soldier\/\"><em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em><\/a>\u2019s trailer has cleared some of those questions, teasing just who Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes have to deal with as they look to preserve the legacy of <em>Captain America<\/em>, starting March 19, 2021 on Disney+.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jkBfGvb7NzM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The opening dialogue suggests that <em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em> will not shy away from Steve Rogers\u2019 name and Cap is not the only blast from the past seen in it as Helmut Zemo somehow is on the loose, even though the series is set after the events of <em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em>. As for the new faces, the masked gang are likely none other than the Thunderbolts and Songbird, whose role in the series could be that of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/thor-love-and-thunder-christian-bale-gorr-god-butcher\/\">more than simple antagonists<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One other notable aspect seen in this first look at <em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em> is that the series was shot across several locations besides the U.S., one certainly in Asia and another being the Czech Republic which has long served as the MCU\u2019s Sekovia. Will the miniseries finally pass on the <em>Captain America<\/em> shield to Wilson or Barnes? At least it won\u2019t start off that way, since Wyatt Russell is confirmed to play John Walker, a completely different <em>Captain America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike <em>WandaVision<\/em> and <em>Loki<\/em>, <em>The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/falcon-winter-soldier-trailer-breakdown-story-details-easter-eggs\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">would seem to lack a fully established premise<\/a> of what are the driving forces behind this duo.
