The Kleins host multiple podcasts besides After Dark, which is a more informal offering compared to the main H3 Podcast. A considerable portion of the conversation surrounded both parties&#8217; relationships with Twitch, namely the Kleins who stopped streaming on the platform last year. Mizkif eventually asked the Kleins why they stopped hosting their podcast on Twitch.<\/p>\n<p>Ethan Klein explained it was a matter of money, stating: &#8220;When it was time to renew the contract, they were being really annoying and YouTube offered to pay me more money.&#8221; However, he also praised the monetization of Twitch through <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/battlefield-3-free-amazon-prime\/\">Amazon Prime<\/a>, referring to it as &#8220;awesome.&#8221; The Kleins have hosted many guests over the years on their podcast including rapper Post Malone,\u00a0<em>Rick and Morty<\/em> co-creator Justin Roiland, comedian Eric Andre, and former presidential candidate Andrew Yang.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-blind-playthrough-tag-removed-good\/\">Twitch&#8217;s Removal of the Blind Playthrough Tag is a Step in the Right Direction<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Kleins\u00a0\u2014 who got into <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/keemstar-gfuel-sponsorship-h3h3-video\/\">a feud with Keemstar<\/a> earlier this year\u00a0\u2014 highlighted that a major issue with streaming on Twitch stemmed from their YouTube origins. Not only is most of their content located on the latter platform, their fanbase is mostly based there too, having been cultivated on that platform. Ethan Klein expressed his frustrations with not being able to synchronize Twitch and YouTube content where the Kleins&#8217; contract with the former prevented them from immediately uploading to YouTube, leading to lost viewership.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kQoAIMFaeJc?start=6153&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Talking to the Kleins, Mizkif lamented the loss of Dr DisRespect from Twitch, who was banned from the platform in June this year for unexplained reasons. &#8220;Doc was one of the only people that had the good memes, the good jokes, the good fun,&#8221; said Mizkif.\u00a0The Kleins have previously claimed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-ban-h3h3-alinity-belle-delphine\/\">Twitch gives\u00a0preferential treatment<\/a> to certain streamers by letting them get away with actions that other streamers would get banned for.<\/p>\n<p>Mizkif\u00a0also referred to Twitch as &#8220;a dead platform.&#8221; Considering that he has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/one-true-king-new-org-twitch-otk\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">co-founded a content creation organization<\/a> alongside Asmongold, Esfand, Rich Campbell, and Tipsout, it appears that Mizkif is looking to secure some sort of occupational stability\u00a0in the face of all the issues with the very platform he streams on.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Twitch has become embroiled in various controversies surrounding its operation. From the aforementioned accusations of special treatment to certain streamers to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-ceo-emmett-shear-dmca-apology\/\">the complexities of DMCA takedowns<\/a>, many content creators have expressed frustration with the platform and the many threats to their occupation and the industry.
