Following the well-received launch of AMD’s Ryzen 5000 Series, gamers have been waiting to see just how well Intel can compete with its upcoming\u00a011th Generation Core CPUs. Many people are expecting Intel to struggle, and the latest specification leak suggests the company will need strong architecture improvements to compete with AMD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The details were revealed by Twitter user Davidbepo, showing specifications for four of the\u00a0Intel<\/a> 11th Gen processors under the code name Rocket Lake. The flagship 11900K will replace the 10900K, but will be relying on the new Cypress Cove cores to perform better per clock cycle, as it features only 8 cores and 16 threads, 2 fewer cores and 4 fewer threads than the current generation model.<\/p>\n

In addition, the core\u00a0speeds of the new 11th Generation i9 11900K chip<\/a> will not be significantly changed from the 19 10900K, with the base clock slightly dropped to 3.5 GHz, but the ability to boost a single core to 5.3 GHz, 100 MHz faster than the existing chip. The other CPUs revealed were the i7-11700K, i5 11600K, and i5 11400, which keep the same core counts as the current model, with minor adjustments to the frequencies.<\/p>\n
