Following Yakuza: Like A Dragon’s<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>next-generation port\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>becoming a timed-exclusive on the Xbox Series X, it seems Microsoft\u00a0has looked to make\u00a0Yakuza\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>a big part of the Xbox brand, bringing\u00a0Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami,\u00a0<\/em>and Yakuza Kiwami 2<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>to Game Pass\u00a0this year. Now, it seems the company is looking to\u00a0offer even more of the\u00a0iconic Japanese series for players on the service, with Microsoft announcing a further four iterations of the franchise will hit Game Pass in the coming months.<\/p>\n

To be precise,\u00a0Yakuza 3, 4, 5,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a06: The Song of Life\u00a0<\/em>will all be making their debut early next year, meaning those wanting to catch up on the long and comprehensive history of the franchise before playing\u00a0Like a Dragon<\/em><\/a> will have every prior entry available to them on Game Pass. As for when exactly the games will hit the subscription service,\u00a0The Yakuza Remastered Collection\u00a0<\/em>– which bundles\u00a0Yakuza 3, 4,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a05\u00a0<\/em>together – will launch\u00a0on January 28, 2021, while\u00a0Yakuza 6: The Song of Life\u00a0<\/em>will debut on March 25.<\/p>\n

For those who never played the seminal Japanese action-adventure games, they follow Kiryu Kazuma<\/a>, a respected former-yakuza who often brings justice to wrong-doers of the criminal underworld. The series is renowned for its over-the-top action, ludicrous humor, and insane narratives, as Kiryu’s adventures frequently take a turn for the strange as he battles ninjas, secret agents, and grown men in diapers. Throughout\u00a0Yakuza 3, 4,\u00a0<\/em>and 5, players will get access to some of the character’s most iconic stories, before wrapping up his saga with\u00a0Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.<\/em><\/p>\n
