However, it seems another publisher is looking to join in on the festive fun, with\u00a0Ubisoft<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>announcing it will be holding a &#8220;Happy Holidays&#8221; event from December 14 to 18 that will allow players to grab some free goodies.<\/p>\n<p>The four-day promotion will\u00a0offer\u00a0fans the opportunity to snag a new piece of free content every 24 hours, with Ubisoft promising it will be\u00a0delivering redeemable in-game items for a number of its biggest releases. Today&#8217;s offering is a slice of new content for\u00a0<em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla,\u00a0<\/em>so those currently embroiled in the high-octane Viking\u00a0adventure will\u00a0have to make sure they hop over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/ubisoft\/\">Ubisoft<\/a> site before the day&#8217;s over to claim it.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/prince-of-persia-the-sands-of-time-remake-delayed-march-2021\/\">Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake Delayed to March 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0small piece of downloadable content comes in the form of a &#8220;rewards pack,&#8221; which bundles both the Bayek Legacy Outfit and the Seafarer Settlement pack into one package. The former is easily the more enticing of the pair, allowing players to suit up in an outfit\u00a0that homages\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-origins-63-year-old-mother-200-hours\/\">Assassin&#8217;s Creed Origins<\/a>&#8216;\u00a0<\/em>protagonist Bayek.\u00a0The gifts available to players will reset at 8 AM ET each day, so those who want to get themselves an iconic costume and some other great goodies still have\u00a0a while yet to pick up the slice of free\u00a0content.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UbisoftConnect\/status\/1338469542612398080\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Luckily for those who don&#8217;t own\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/assassins-creed-valhalla-plot-holes\/\">Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and want to secure themselves the DLC for when they do get their hands on it, Ubisoft has made it so players can claim items for games they don&#8217;t yet own. All they have to do is jump onto the Ubisoft website, log into or register an account, head over to the Happy Holidays promotion, and press redeem.\u00a0The entire idea is a\u00a0fun little Holiday surprise for Ubisoft&#8217;s biggest fans and one that&#8217;s sure to get the community talking over the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>As for Ubisoft itself, the company has had a pretty strong end of 2020, with\u00a0<em>Watch Dogs Legion\u00a0<\/em>launching at the end of October,\u00a0<em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Valhalla\u00a0<\/em>landing in mid-November, and\u00a0<em>Immortals: Fenyx Rising\u00a0<\/em>arriving earlier this month.
