Much like in World of Warcraft<\/em>, groups of Warframe<\/em><\/a> players can complete quests for in-game experience points and other rewards. Warframe<\/em> takes place in a different realm as World of Warcraft<\/em>, yet there are many parallels between the two. 11 <\/span>Phantasy Star Online 2<\/h2>\n

Phantasy Star Online 2<\/em><\/a> is something of a blast from the past, as well as a huge nostalgia bomb. This expansive game takes players to various worlds in the Star Wars<\/em> universe. The ability to play as a Jedi or Sith gives this game much replay value. One can also choose to be a commando as they participate in group quests as well as single-player ones.<\/p>\n

It also expands on established lore in preceding\u00a0Baldur’s Gate<\/em><\/a> games.<\/p>\n

But Larian has a cast of very unique characters ranging from a Githyanki princess to a dashing vampire. And all of the playable characters (including one fans create) have Illithid tadpoles in their brains<\/a>.\u00a0WoW<\/em> fans will appreciate the attention to detail, rich lore, and decisive combat of the game.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>The Elder Scrolls Online<\/h2>\n

Putting aside that the combat in\u00a0The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is quite different and it obviously takes place in\u00a0The Elder Scrolls<\/em>\u00a0universe, comparisons can be made to\u00a0World of Warcraft.\u00a0<\/em>Both games are massively multiplayer and they have extensive lore to tie in with gameplay.<\/p>\n

Though the game had a bit of a rocky start, many players agree that it’s reached a great homeostasis now. The now Microsoft-owned Bethesda Softworks announced a new campaign involving the Gates of Oblivion<\/a> for 2021, as well.<\/p>\n
