Deus Ex<\/em><\/a> is an immersive sim that’s laden thick in conspiracy plots and social commentary that is as intriguing as the mechanics of the game itself, if not more. The fact that this masterpiece was released two decades is still mind-blowing, and a testament to the fact that this title was decades ahead of its time.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Deus Ex: Human Revolution<\/h2>\n

With Bloodlines 2<\/em><\/a> coming out next year, there’s no better time to revisit a classic that is considered by many to be one of the most underrated video games of all time.\u00a0Vampire: The Masquerade \u2014 Bloodlines<\/a><\/em> is a western RPG with elements of an immersive sim that is an experience that most people won’t forget anytime soon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was unfortunate that this game released on the same day as Half-Life 2<\/em><\/a>, which is part of the reason why most people chose not to pay attention to this absolute gem of a title. However, people who choose to give this game the shot it deserves will be able to enjoy a video game that is truly unlike anything they’ve ever played before.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>BioShock<\/h2>\n

Ken Levine’s masterpiece was bound to make its way into this list at some point or the other.<\/p>\n
