Echtra Games\u2019 Torchlight 3 <\/em><\/strong>takes players on an isometric hack-and-slash dungeon-crawling adventure centuries after the events of Torchlight 2. <\/em>The Ember Empire\u2019s power has diminished and the kingdom of Novastria again faces the threat of invasion by the Netherim.<\/p>\n

With today\u2019s launch of the largest patch yet for Torchlight 3<\/em><\/a>, a winter-themed update that introduces four new pets and a \u201cmerry variant\u201d of the Retriever, players can venture into dungeons and fight monsters with festive good cheer. The game\u2019s \u201cSnow & Steam\u201d update will add a limited-time Snow & Steam Contract that gives adventurers the opportunity to obtain the Frost Owl, Ugly Sweater Cat, Jolly Ferret, and an adorable Reindeer.<\/p>\n

Additionally, progressing through the contract will reward adventurers with snow-based fort decorations and a variety of other goodies. \u201cSnow & Steam\u201d will also give Torchlight 3<\/em><\/a> players the chance to acquire five new legendary weapons: the unique Toymaker\u2019s Tool, as well as the North Mace, Glacier\u2019s Edge, Frostwall, and My Lil\u2019 General, which are part of the Arctic Armaments set. While the Snow & Steam Contract will only be available through the holiday season, any items unlocked by players will be permanently available.<\/p>\n
